The duo mixes Ben’s musical culture with Saull’s methodical precision while being inspired by universal house, disco funk, 90s music, and deep house from the early 2000s. This brings coherence, harmony, and their own flavour to their music that holds special attention to the bass line, a groovy galloping beat, and sexy vocals that connect with the audience.

The duo has released their own tracks for prolific record labels such as No Art, Moan, Politic of Dancing, Wyld, TBX, and, Deep Perfect to highly acclaimed praise. And yet, Ben & Saull’s favourite pastime might be to take a track and add a little bit of II Faces to it, such as their wildly popular edit of Cafe Con Leche. BON AIME and Nikko had known each other for years from sharing the decks at a hippie-infested yoga studio in LA, but in pure coincidence crossed paths in Tulum during the start of the pandemic. Nikko’s van had stranded in Tulum after a long drive through the U.S - he was stuck on the beach with all of his music gear. So they did the thing any duo of believers would do, and started to organise beach parties for all to attend. 

In the pursuit of freedom, self-expression and most importantly, vibes, their local reputation as premier dealers of funky grooves grew, and they began to play at an assortment of weird and wonderful events, bringing their disco charm everywhere they went. This track was born out of an experiment to produce an edit in one night before a gig. 

While many of their edits haven’t seen the light of day, Evil Ways has been played across Mexico, the USA and even BON AIME's homeland of the Netherlands - finally finding a home in SCR two years later. The young adventurers have many a memory playing this edit, and we hope you can make some more.

Boogie Vice, N-You-Up Feat. Mx Blouse drop an electric cover version of an iconic Jungle Brothers tune. 'I'll House You' is an enduring anthem that gets a fresh modern update plus three different mixes.

Boogie Vice hails from Paris, and since debuting a decade ago, he has lit up Beatport charts, combining fresh nu-disco and house styles in unique ways and has released on the likes of Busy P's Ed Banger Records, Amine Edge & DANCE's Cuff and Miguel Campbell's Outcross Records. He has previously released on this label alongside Sensual Sounds head honcho Deep Aztec but now works with South of Fracas star N-You-Up. He has been DJing since 1996, first as hip-house artist The Beatangers, but with this alias returns to his roots and blends jazz, funk and disco on labels like Nervous Records as well as Get Physical Music.

The Jungle Brothers dropped their legendary hip-house hit single 'I'll House You' in 1988, and it became an instant classic. Now, it has been reworked for contemporary floors in fine style.

This innovative rework keeps the original vocals, which are so full of sleazy attitude, but layers in a wonky melody line, slows the beats down and builds them into a funky and low-slung groove. Extra raw percussive hits and seductive synths all help make this a brilliant rework that, with the standout vocals, is sure to become anthemic in its own right.

After that comes a drumapella which beefs up the kicks as the original vocals remain in place up top. Then comes a Dub Mix, which is more paired back but with big bounce in the drums and only fragments of the vocal littering the mix next to the loopy groove. Finally, the Hope Street At Night mix is stripped right back to a shuffling and minimal groove with icy pads and late-night menace completely flipping the vibe.
