『卒業と、それまでのうとうと』『マイルーム・マイステージ』という2作品で音楽シーンに大きなインパクトを与えた泉まくらが1年半ぶりの新作『愛ならば知っている』を完成させた。

今作までにもmabanua、菅野よう子との共作曲がアニメ『スペース☆ダンディ』挿入歌起用、禁断の多数決、Cherry Brownとのコラボ、『卒業と、それまでのうとうと』収録〝balloon〟が映画『テラスハウス』挿入歌起用など話題に事欠くことはなかった。

今作は『愛』をテーマに、自然体な言葉は時に優しく、時に厳しく問いかける。

メインプロデューサーnagacoをはじめ、Mitsu the Beats、Olive Oil、LIBRO、食品まつりという初顔合わせなプロデューサー達がその言葉を彩りながら強く支えている。
