The musical output of Sprechen officially gets underway with an outstanding EP of mutant, stomping, twisted disco from Damon Jee that comes with 2 mind melting remixes from Hardway Bros and Il Est Vilaine.

Summer No Summer kicks of proceedings and instantly gets you on the hook with a powerhouse snare stomp thats soon partnered with a low slung arpeggiator bassline and warped pads, wonky crashes…an all important change in key will make your dopamine levels boil over and the dance floor look like a scene from Backdraft…reach for the beans, its a hell of a builder!

Cuir Rouge thunders out of the gate in the same manner of its predecessor and continues to wiggle its hypnotic wonkiness across its 6 & 1/2 minutes run time…perfectly placed drops & sweeps along with some nightmarish stabs for added weirdness lead the way for a pretty awesome breakdown to allow the lasers to be reached for….stick it up to Defcon 10.

Hardway Bros tackles Summer No Summer with remix gusto and the result is a full on Balearic-psych workout that will guarantee to take matters on a techni-coloured trip to the dance floor cosmos…with some added guitar twanging by Tici Taci's very own Duncan Gray, this remix is prepped & ready for those moments when you really want to throw things as leftifeld as possible and take the audience along to phase 2 of the journey.

Having had a recent sell out release on Kompakt the guys from Il Est Vilaine sprinkle some remix dust over Cuir Rouge and completely flip the script…soaring pads from the get go lead the way to some dubbed out vocals of their very own before dropping with a full on slamming bass line & echo'd synth lines…this is main stage action at its finest!

@uponyourecords verbindet Menschen. Das beste Beispiel dafür ist die EP namens „Follow The Machines“, die bereits am 8. März 2017 erschien. Die Kollektion wurde in Kollaboration zwischen Sylvain Soulier und Joseph Thomas Price kreiert, die unter ihren Pseudonymen @thirdsonuk und @darlynvlys besser bekannt sind. Neben drei Original-Songs umfasst die EP einen Remix vom Produzenten-Gespann @eins_tiefer. Nico Bulla und Vincent Probst, die sich hinter dem Alias verbergen, wollten anfangs den Remix mit mehr Zug nach vorne gestalten. Rausgekommen ist dabei ein Acid-Remix der nicht richtig gepasst habe. „Beim zweiten Versuch sind wir etwas reduzierter an die Sache herangegangen, was sich letztendlich bewährt hat“, so das Duo. Kommende Woche erscheint die „Tea Party Vol. 1“ des Labels @madhatterrecordlabel mit Werken von @sascha-ries-sasch-bbc & Caspar, @alexandros_djkevingr & @gregignatovich und @franandco. „Im Prinzip habe ich nach einer Veranstaltung etwas rumgespielt und dabei entstand das Grundgerüst“, sagt der letztgenannte Künstler, fran&co, über seine Nummer „Chillharmonie“. Sein Track läuft auf 110 BPM, das passt eigentlich nicht wirklich zu den bisherigen fran&co-Veröffentlichungen, aber die Produktion von diesem Stück habe ihm unglaublich viel Spaß gemacht. „Ich wollte schon immer einen melodischen Slow-House-Track bauen, und der Track macht einfach gute Laune!“ (...)

“Caught between two worlds …” is not the most convenient place for most musicians. That, however, is where Oscar OZZ has felt most comfortable for years. Whether Deep House, Tech House, Indie Dance or Minimal: the most important thing is that it grooves, is catchy and rocks the dance floor! His gigs at the hottest clubs in the country as well as his gigs abroad in Mexico, Bolivia, Spain, Belgium, Holland, Norway etc. have also been highly praised in retrospect, just like his regular festival appearances at e.g. SonneMondSterne, Sputnik Springbreak or Summerspirit.

Every year many tracks appear, mostly on vinyl, and sweeten up – not only in this country – music lovers’ lives. Oscar’s discography is very comprehensive and includes famous productions on many different labels such as Katermukke, Material Series, Confused, Perc Trax, Superfancy, BlackFoxMusic. Oscar OZZ is also known and notorious for his edits, which are distributed to a large fan base (> 5000 subscriber) free of charge on a monthly basis through his newsletter. Songs from many artists have thus had the pleasure to be enhanced for the DJ world.

Since 2003 Oscar OZZ is running different imprints like Karatemusik, KarateKlub, Lørdag, Kol Mojito, Extrasmart, Tape Select or OZZ Records. He’s also working together with different artists like Ron Flatter, Patrick Brosin, etc. to bring up their labels like Pour La Vie or .defaultbox  to the top.  Most of the tracks were released on vinyl and digital. The complete administrative stuff, like handling with pressing plants and digital distribution and accounting is managed successfully through Oscar OZZ.
