When I was much my younger. My dad used to have to take me to his job at a catholic school. I would be in this giant school alone and go and do what ever I wanted. Sampling this song I immediately remembered a time when I was playing in the Chappell. I loved the sound of my feet stomping and scared myself by touching the organ. I sang religious songs that I didn't really understand and played pretend church. 

My dad is no longer here. The more I struggle through life the more I regret how my relationship with him went as he was being taken by cancer.  I stopped talking to him and on not so great terms.  I wish I could tell him I'm sorry. He was never religious but I know he wanted to and tried to believe in a god of some kind.  

I think I get it now.  I hope that somehow some way you know this. Love you dad.

Never Alone

I really appreciate the few hundred plays I get monthly.  From a guy who came up with with myspace, that actually still feels like allot to me.  
 So to be frank. These Past few months have been rough creatively, Took time away from the algo chasing, networking and trying to pump out a song every month. I Was starting to hate my music and was beginning to loose myself in the feeling that  I had nothing to contribute. Specifically when collaborating with others.
If your a artist who I ghosted, I'm sorry for being a flaky jerk. I did not feel like I could release another track as Oscar unless I made some substantial improvements and did some serious self reflecting.  

I have been sitting on this track for a few months and it doesn't fit anywhere in a current project so it seems perfect for the occasion.

The growth in the appeal of the 200x speed up, street culture sound.  Brings me allot of joy. Rebellious but not to serious. Chaotic, plundered. Weird and cool. Faster than usual. Old mixed with new. and mixes that vary greatly in dynamics. It's cathartic music production to me. A style that ask you to put your hair down and unclench your jaw.
