When I heard the original song by ‘Bubamara Brass Band’, Manea Romi’ I was like “damnnn that is so cool, I need to flip this in to something housey”. I posted a clip of my ‘edit’ on tiktok and tagged the original artists. Aleksandar from the band actually hit me up and asked if I wanted to collab on some music. I asked if I could get the stems for ‘Manea’ and release my edit together. He sent the parts over and now the track’s coming out. I’m so stoked we could make this work together.

This one goes by the name of ‘Turtle Dove’ and takes a slightly different approach to what we would normally upload onto the channel. The track itself is driven by slanted 2-steppy rhythms and luscious background pad textures, all floating away between vibrant sub textures and colourful melodic inputs. It’s definitely a touch different and is the perfect track to switch up any 4x4 selection!
