Recorded live at Skydance 2022.

Set against a stunning natural backdrop on Kamilaroi country, 5 hours north of Sydney, Skydance's inaugural event was one of the highest standard!  Having grown up and spent many of my formative years not far from the festival site, returning for Skydance was a strange sort of 'homecoming' for me. Playing at the end of the festival, I channeled this into a set that was very much based in present day, but payed homage too and included some of the music that inspired me to start Djing.

For our 18th Nightime Drama podcast, we are proud to present Sydney based DJ/Producer and NTD resident Oscar.Mike

Oscar.Mike has been steadily carving out a name for himself over the last few years, having performed under a number of aliases drawing inspiration from a diverse range of sounds and genres. Oscar is an avid record collector with an expansive collection of techno, house, breaks and dub, who can always maintain an accessibility that ensures he is able to connect with the dance floor.

This versatility has seen him become a trusted choice for promoters to support acts like Shlomo, Deadbeat, Batu and Pearson Sound in years past. Having also turned his hand to production, we released Oscar’s first digital EP where it gained the attention of Claude Young, Luigi Tozzi, Benjamin Damage, and many others. 

Get ready for a treat, as Oscar.Mike showcases a 4 deck mixing hybrid live set combining loops of his own productions and sections of tracks from some of his favourite artists.
