11 Catmouth Boogie (Catface Town)

This is the music for a project I worked on at Global Game Jam 2014. The topic was "We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are", so these guys took it quite literally and made it about a blind pirate who has to ARRR to see his enemies, because if he doesn't, they will ARR at you and kill you. R - Caribbean Dreams (Title)

This is a string quartet that I wrote for my final composition for a visiting ensemble in my last year of university. It's probably one of the best things I've written, and took me well over a month to complete. I'm quite proud of it, even though I know it's not perfect, of course. It's sort of a mix between classical, film music, progressive, funk and jazz, featuring solo sections for violin, viola and cello. I was going to put it into proper samples, but considering the time it would take me, I haven't had that time... But for whomever is content with sibelius sounds, enjoy!

This is a work made up of themes accumulated over two years during my time in University. I wanted to give the tunes a more funky fusion feel, so this album has been extended from the original 16 minutes of music in the game to a thumping 54 minutes of joy!
