Upavas is a unique artist and a true Goa pioneer. He came to Goa by accident in 1986 and fell in love . His love stuck and evolved with the scene until today. Upavas began writing electronic music in 2002 and earned himself a reputation for dark & twilight PSY over the years. He has been a part of Sangoma Records' artist roster since 2014, where he happily continues his musical mischief. He is currently working on a new album. Get ready to go PSYCHEDELIC!

Recording of my twilight set from Hive-Mind-Theory by Atmik Connection & Dwell Collective played from 3 - 4:30pm It was such an amazing experience blasting a selection of night fullon/twilight tracks for the 1st time in public, and to see the crowd fill up to a full packed dancefloor enjoying my tunes was such a bliss, although many were surprised to hear me play something different than forestpsy 😅😁 massive thanks to my friends who have me an opportunity to play a special set alongside a stellar lineup.. He joined the Belgian team "Elektro Magnetik" in 2009, signed on "Green Tree Records" later in 2013 and freshly with "World People Prod" in 2017.

Hashashin's music is between 146 and 150 bpm, provides strong and groovy basslines, tribal hypnotic percussions, twisted organic synth textures and funny samples. It turns dancefloors into a powerful and positive energy explosion.

KALIYUGA | Sangoma Records series Ep. 59 | 05/08/2020

Osciloptix is the last member of an ancient civilisation of insectoids, known as the Oscilopsians, which inhabited the earth 400 million years ago during the Devonian period.

These crepuscular, insect-like creatures, staged planet-wide synchronised symphonies, at dusk and dawn, that would turn any stagnant body of water into a temporary cymatic masterpiece.

Facing extinction due to the evolution of amphibians at the beginning of the Carboniferous era, in an attempt to migrate to a different timeline, the Oscilopsians built a time portal deep beneath the planet's surface, in the great caverns and harnessed the earth's abundant geo thermal energy to power it.

When the portal was activated, the immense power drain caused the earth's magnetic poles to shift and the portal to implode, obliterating every living being in the caverns, collapsing the chambers and starting the continental drift of the tectonic plates of Gondwana.

Being late for the great migration, Osciloptix escapes the cataclysm that brought the entire insectoid civilisation to an end.

Feeling an incomprehensible disconnection from the hive mind and realising that his entire species is gone, he burrows deep underground, encasing himself in a cocoon, awaiting to resurface in the 21st century and carry on the legacy of the Oscilopsians.
