Dubs first up and a crucial one as sound system culture coming from the West Indies indisputably laid the foundations of grime, jungle and most contemporary  club music. The songs stand the test of time better than anything, so heavy.

Dub Mixtape

A mix of Doo Wop from mostly the 1950s.
Originating from African American communities in America in the 1940s. Doo Wop snowballed in popularity in the following decades and pretty much influenced everything thereafter.

Recorded last winter and my first attempt I had a making a mixtape rather than a conventional dance mix.
Depressing/contemplative /society is fucked vibes.

New York the birthplace of hip hop, impossible to understate!
If your not familiar with its origins I recommend watchin 'The Evolution Of Hip Hop' Its on netflix and is pretty thorough and fascinating! Know your history!

Osc Kins & Speed Gonzales - War in Peace

A young hardcore rapper from New Orleans, Lil Slim was among the first rappers associated with Cash Money Records prior to its commercial breakout in the late '90s.

Lil Slim is the dude who discovered a ten year old Lil Wayne and brought him through to cash money recs.. He then split with cash money citing contractual problems and unfair payment. Later returning in 98 with Lil Slim's Back on independent Franchise Player.

Princess Loko, Whitehaven, Memphis lived right across the street from a young Tommy Wright III. Tommy would sneak over with a four track while her mum was out and record verses in her bedroom. I think shes about 17,18 at the time of recording this song but there's hardly any archived information on her (let me know if you have some!!)

At the time Tommy had no idea how pioneering the creation of  his group 'Ten Wanted Men' would be. Featuring Lil Ramsey, Mac T-Dog and two female rappers Princess Loko and Lil Chat. Tommy orchestrated the groups sound with most rappers having slim to no musical experience, yet still making two of the gnarliest rap albums to date.
