from our city of rio, with tones, sounds and styles from the 80's, comes our next dj from tropicaldo. passionate and committed to the cause of music, the guest of the moment is a tireless curator and multitalented camões, one of the founders of the party delícia, based in the city. in addition to being a musical researcher, he is also a producer, composer and a drink fan.

in recent years he has released remixes by renowned brazilian artists such as marcos valle and curumin. recently, the artist has resumed his authorial side with the release of the instrumental song “fofoca” made in partnership with martha pinel, as well as the singles bon bivant and NA KARA that precede his new album, “a boite dá, mas tira”.

in this new work, which will be released on 08/19, Camões contrasts the frisson of the night with the melancholy of the edges. a lyric that walks the razor's edge between enchantment and neurosis.

“i wanted to make this set an exercise of self-knowledge that is the cut of dance music that I love the most lately. what would play on the track if the track were myself? the result is an immersive selection with many tracks that hark back to the origins of house music filled with the classic tone of the Korg M1 tempered by percussions and vocals from different parts of the globe.

i would highlight the rework I did with pino henrique pedra for the track “Ó” by the band tribo with the acid bass from 303, the retouch for “animal eyes” by axell and the original track “fofoca” produced with martha pinel for the compilation fire launched by borogodó.fm and u're guay records.”

da nossa cidade do hell de janeiro, com tons, sons e estilos dos anos 80, vem nosso próximo dj da tropicaldo sonoro. apaixonado e engajado na causa da música, o convidado da vez é um amigo pessoal, incansável curador e multitalentos camões. um dos fundadores da festa delícia, além de pesquisador musical, é também produtor, compositor e um aficionado por drinks. 

nos últimos anos, ele lançou remixes de artistas cultuados da música brasileira como marcos valle e curumin. já recentemente, o artista retomou seu lado autoral com o lançamento da música instrumental “fofoca” feita em parceria com a martha pinel, além dos singles bon bivant e NA KARA que precedem seu novo álbum, “a boite dá, mas tira”.

nesse novo trabalho, que lança 19/08, Camões contrasta o frisson da noite com a melancolia das rebordoses. uma lírica que caminha no fio da navalha entre o encantamento e a neurose. 

“quis fazer desse set um exercício de autoconhecimento de qual é o recorte da dance music que mais me encanta ultimamente. o que tocaria na pista se a pista fosse eu mesmo? o resultado é uma seleção imersiva com muitas tracks que remetem à origem da house music repletas do timbre clássico do Korg M1 temperadas por percussões e vocais de diversas partes do globo. 

sublinharia o rework que fiz com o pino henrique pedra para a faixa “Ó” da banda tribo com o baixo ácido da 303, o retouch para “olhos animais” do axell e a faixa original “fofoca” produzida com a martha pinel para o compilado fogo lançado pela @borogodó.fm e a u’re Guay records.”
