WubQuency leverages the cutting-edge power of Xfer’s Serum 2 to sculpt bass tones so uncanny they might just be alien in origin.

Thanks to Serum 2’s five distinct synthesis engines—wavetable, multisample, sample, granular, and spectral—WubQuency weaves together otherworldly textures that defy physics. Whether it’s using the spectral oscillator to resynthesize harmonics into ghostly drones, or the granular engine to fragment desert ambiance into glitching grains of sound, every wub feels alive.
Dual-warp capabilities—combining frequency modulation, phase distortion, timbral shifts, and more—add swirling motion to each oscillator layer, creating wubs that twist and morph like cosmic sandstorms.

Finely tuned routing and effects bring even more dimension: dual filters routed via a new mixer for parallel or series shaping, combined with creative FX like convolution reverb, frequency shifting, and multi-band splitting to spice the mix with alien resonance.

Ici, elle nous fait découvrir une mixtape aux "influences black metal, metal indus, acid metal pour aller vers un truc plus electro indus qui flirte avec la hardcore. Il y a un peu de rap, ça reste assez empreint de darkness adolescente gothique, avec quelques petits trucs plus actuels au milieu."

Originally released on Kardano's single Forever last year, the track is given four remix treatments in this release: a bangin' tech house remix from Melleefresh herself, a hard dance/hard house remix from the always reliable dj genderfluid, a sublime bass house remix from Hawaii's Collelo, and a bouncy house remix from Vancouver's Stormecloudz.
