The Sadness of Matia Mahal is a mini-album of drone and ambient works for my experimental project - Khidirpur.  This project is inspired by my travels in North and Central India and is collage music - a combination of field recordings, textural guitar, Indian strings, dissected drone, vinyl, and ambient noise.  The sound manifests through cycles of ghost notes, sustain, decay and reverberated space.
