This was my 4th year participating and 3rd year playing music at the Lighting in the Bottle arts and culture festival in Bradley, CA. This year I had a special request to play ambient drum and bass, which was the music I learned to DJ on in 1997 and 1998. I played under this beautiful oak tree. It is the focal point of The Compass, an area dedicated to learning, empowerment, and spirit. It was my task to provide an alternative safe space while the rest of the festival was reaching peak volume and intensity. After a bit of a rough start transitioning from the previous act, I landed in a smooth liquid groove before melting down into halftime, trip-hop, and ambient music lullabies. Enjoy!
