From the vaults of the underground, label homies Nuclear Digital Transistor come back for more with the new EP “DISCOS CASSETTES”.In this new “entrega” the duo from Bogotá, showcases their dubbest and cacophonous work to date. 

The homonymous first track stretches the tights between indie and electro with a monotonous tight analogue bassline strong enough to blend between discordant synthesizers, distorted vocals and noise. Beautiful entrance to a night rave. 

Rotos, the second instance, begins with an already characteristic polyrhythmic bass driving us through space while chanting the mantra “Rotos, estamos rotos” in the look for spiritual revival through an acid lead. Leather heater. 

The last track of the EP surprises not only for being a twist of the original mix but for giving the EP a band track with more lyrics, new synths and a breakbeat that lasts 2:44. 

There is no stop for NDT and this EP is a clear way forward for what’s yet to come.

En nuestra siguiente edición invitamos a T.A.T

T.A.T es una DJ y productora de Bogotá, reconocida por su enfoque hipnótico y cargado de groove dentro del techno, donde combina energía cruda con matices oscuros y eléctricos. Es cofundadora de @Nyxxia-movement, un movimiento dedicado a visibilizar y fortalecer el talento femenino dentro de la escena electrónica local. Desde 2019, ha concebido la mezcla como una forma de exploración personal y colectiva. Su profunda conexión con el vinilo, fortalecida en 2022, redefinió su técnica y consolidó un estilo basado en la precisión, la textura y el flujo, donde cada disco se convierte en parte de una narrativa mayor.

Les invitamos leer esta pequeña entrevista que le hicimos a T.A.T:

- ¿Qué te motivó a convertirte en DJ y qué consejo le darías a alguien que está comenzando como DJ?

Siempre he sido una apasionada de la música. Cuando descubrí el techno, la idea de mezclar las canciones que me gustaban capturó por completo mi atención. Desde entonces, busqué todas las maneras posibles de hacerlo: compartiendo sesiones con amigos y llevando mi controladora a todas partes. Con el tiempo, comprendí que esto iba más allá de un simple hobby, y decidí darle un enfoque más serio y profesional, porque no tengo duda de que la música es el motor principal de mi vida.

Mi mayor consejo es ponerse la mano en el corazón y preguntarse si realmente lo haces por amor y pasión. Si es así, lo importante es seguir aprendiendo, ser curiose, explorar música todos los días y aprender de quienes fueron pionerxs.

- ¿Cuáles considerás que son los principales retos que enfrenta las personas DJs en la escena electrónica?

La monopolización de los espacios y la manera en que muchos promotores priorizan vender la música en lugar de transmitirla genuinamente es algo que me preocupa. Siento que, en muchos casos, se pierde la esencia y la conexión real con lo que representa la música electrónica: compartir, experimentar y crear comunidad. La industria tiende a volverse un circuito cerrado donde siempre aparecen los mismos nombres, y eso limita la posibilidad de descubrir nuevos talentos y voces diversas. Creo que es necesario recuperar la autenticidad y recordar que la música no es un producto, sino una forma de expresión y conexión humana.
