Ce souffle, c’est celui du label : un espace libre où les sensibilités s’expriment sans contrainte de style, mais avec une vision claire — celle d’une musique atmosphérique, émotionnelle, et profondément immersive.

Ce n’est pas une compilation, c’est un point de rencontre. Une onde qui traverse les corps et les machines. Une forme vivante où le minimalisme se mêle à l’organique, où l’abstraction devient tangible, où chaque artiste laisse une trace, une vibration.

'From Another Form' unfolds as a cohesive sonic movement. Otherworldly, deeply layered and purposefully unpredictable. Across eleven interwoven tracks, Belgian artist Gaāl explores the vast and shifting contours of techno, allowing ambient depth and broken rhythmic tension to fold into its structure. Rather than chasing climaxes or linear force, the album builds in pulses — sometimes dense and forceful, sometimes translucent — inviting the listener into a space where structure stretches, breathes and occasionally unravels. In July 2025, our friends, the Avantgarden Crew, invited Lars Hemmerling and Pat Flanders to the Community Gathering in the Monom Bar of the legendary Funkhaus Berlin, where the two of them stood behind the decks together for the first time.
Still, their gathering felt and sounded more like a team that has been working together forever than an improvised set. 

If you were there, you know that. If not, much of their performance was recorded to give you a flavor of this great evening/night of performances and exhibitions, and perhaps a taste of what's to come.

Glass, the new EP by Ishan Mukherjee, is a tribute to creative freedom and an intentional break from structure and rhythm. Letting go of beats and predictable patterns, Ishan dives deep into a world of meditative soundscapes that blur genre lines and focus on feeling over form. The EP was born during his time in Goa, where he travelled light with a portable analog setup, Korg Volca Keys, Artiphon Orba, an acoustic guitar, all patched into a Zoom H5 recorder. Improvisation was at the heart of the process. Without a DAW or metronome to guide him, Ishan captured raw, spontaneous ideas in real time.

Goa itself seeped into the music. Field recordings of monsoon rains, quiet forest walks, and hushed conversations became part of the sonic fabric, making the landscape an unseen collaborator. When Ishan returned to his studio in Hyderabad, those sessions began to evolve. The studio turned into a space of playful experimentation as sounds were stretched, reversed, granulated and the line between music and memory started to blur. Ishan describes the EP as “a map of contradictions… like watching the ocean swallow a storm.”

The EP finds its home at Safar Collective, a label that encourages self-expression through experimentation. The partnership reflects the spirit of the project as Safar’s boundary-pushing ethos fits perfectly with Ishan’s vision of a borderless, exploratory sound. Together, they invite listeners to experience ambient music in a new way: as a journey with no fixed destination.

Glass, out August 19th, marks a new chapter for Ishan. Moving away from his earlier rhythm-heavy collaborations, this EP leans into vulnerability, introspection, and the beauty of imperfection. It’s both a reflection and a departure, and an honest step into the unknown.

Kyntral is a co-founder of the Argentinian label Danza Nativa and he serves up a deeply immersive trip here. 'Inner Depths' is liquid deep techno in the mould of Neel or Donato Dozzy. Percolating rhythms and dubby undercurrents subsume mind and body while deft little details place you underwater. 'Bloodstone' is a little more lumpy with gentle smattering of percussion of drums that bump. 'Ancient Apparition' is a spacious sound with wispy pads disappearing to infinity, glassy tinkles and undulating drums all getting you into a meditative state. The Patrick Russell Phantom remix is more warped and dark to add a nice counterpoint.

The debut co-op release by DIRTY GLASSEZ and N95 brings together the best of both worlds, combining a melancholic atmosphere with ghetto tech/footwork aesthetics.

CLOUDTEK reworks the aesthetics of the digital positivity and glossy futurism of the 2000s into a more mature, minor key form. Simple ringtone vaporwave melodies take on a thoughtful sound, shimmering in an ambient haze. Drums borrowed from ghetto genres add a special energy to the music.
