F-on, also known as Alfonso Pomeda is a DJ and producer and has been a prominent figure within the Madrid electronic music scene for many years .His progressive sessions, profound and with long mixes, are real voyages that sail through experimental music, ambient and horizontal and dubby techno. His productions are 4x4 experiments of low tempo with field recordings and marked spaces, where he explores timbres, textures and cinematographic structures.
He has recently launched together with Kawn, "Tactil",  a project formed in 2020 focused on experimental slow techno that released its first vinyl in April this year on Antimatter.
He is multi-tasking running Is the Place record-store, doing the curation of the Festival Mostra At Barcelona; Antimatter label , Alpenglühen events & label...
Alpenglühen is a German word which conveys an optical phenomenon in which the last light ray on the mountain falls before nightfall. It is called that because the music falls somewhere in between light and darkness.

In 2014, the stars aligned and two young producers joined forces to form ALPI, uniting their energies, creative spirit, and shared love for vinyl and machines. The result - dynamic, refreshing, ethereal sonic explorations containing the beautiful ALPI spark we’ve come to love. Their efforts to create a sound that is their own has, in our view, paid off beautifully, although we’ve no doubt the experimentations continue.

Aside from their productions (Semantica, The Gods Planet, Planet Rhythm, Piano Forest et al), we adore the ALPI essence flowing through their mixes, and this epic contribution to On the 5th Day is the ideal way to seal a slice of the magic within On the 5th Day’s treasure chest. For that, we’re truly grateful.

"This mix contains several of my current favorite minimal and techno records and also several classic gems of the genre.

For personal reasons, it was recorded at night, with the volume low on the speakers, which complicated the process a bit. It's not my most technically perfect session, but, on the other hand, the situation forced me to make a kind of blend and speech without stridency and this has built a very interesting sleepy atmosphere.

It's the music I could play nowadays at an after hour club and the way I would play it."

mouseDown (Barcelona, Spain) | ‘Trip on switch’

19:00 pm on a cloudy and blurry day/world but internally the sun is radiant. Great communion of familiar and new faces gathered for the same cause. Serious start. We are smoothly grooving with elegance with delicate emotional pads, on point percussion and beautiful squeeze sounds/residues. Pleasant ear-to-ear stereo noisy sounds or a really present and protagonist mono shaker are key in the middle of all this marvelous soundscapes. We have not realized it but we are wrapped up, as if it was the best blunt, in an unrepeatable atmosphere. Major heart acceleration. Exquisite. Time to take a deep breath and get back on track. The first drops begin to fall, with more and more intensity, just like our rhythm on the worked dance floor. Great and happy vibes make us keep smiling at each other while dancing coordinated from one side to another. A rollercoaster of switched emotions caused by high level palpable cracking textures, sweet aggressiveness soundscapes along with a cosy kick (the whole time) and catchy classy dark and bright synths. 
20:58 pm. Definitely happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if one only remember to switch on the light (trip). On (a) switch trip. Trip on Switch.
