It is little to say that we are proud to share this latest addition in our podcast series. 

Sanjib (@sanjib-4) is one of the artists who was mentioned most quickly when we were looking for references for Exocet in 2019. His approach of a deep, organic, textured techno, drawing its influences from dub and nature, already was a big influence at that time. 

Since then, he produced a handful of EPs and two albums, "Lost Continent" and "Lost Planet", released respectively on Huinali and Annulled. We cherish his universe dedicated to travel and introspection that he declines in his his mixes and productions.

When we asked Sanjib if he wanted to associate a theme with this mix, he directly thought of ocean acidification.

Ocean acidification is the forgotten consequence of climate change. Or at least, one of the lesser publicized, compared to hurricanes, heat waves, droughts or floods. Yet it is a crucial issue : the food chain, the biodiversity and more generally the possibility of life in certain regions depend on it.

CO2 emissions are by far the primary cause of ocean acidification. Other causes involve agricultural activities and coastal pollution.

The issue of climate justice must be addressed here again. The first human populations to suffer the consequences of ocean acidification are not the ones that emit the most CO2. The levers for action are known and documented: reducing our dependence on fossil fuels and stopping massive deforestation. The most emitting countries must not only honor their promises, but also help the most affected populations to adapt.

In the current period, the freshness of spring is now slowly receding and fully replaced by the passionate heat of the summer season. After the glorious revival of all the organisms of the warm time of the year, nature delights with its lush green and the scents of warm tree bark and flowering grasses.
@fred-czital from Prague (CZ)  has captured the story of this breathtakingly beautiful transition with his impressive mix. We are incredibly happy to welcome him for this fifth episode of our Seasonal Shift series. We couldn't have asked for anyone better for this!

Conoley Ospovat is a multi-talented producer, instrumentalist, live performer, DJ, radio host, label-owner, and globetrotter, having touched down with shows from Tokyo to New York, from Germany to Chile. 

Drawing from a diverse range of influences including techno, house, early electronica, synth pop, post-punk, jazz, and improvisational jam bands, Ospovat creates uplifting dance music that is an interpretation of the world in sound.

Conoley has spent a large part of his life in Tokyo/Japan. Regularly playing at Tokyo’s most iconic clubs and at festivals of all sizes in the forests and mountains of Japan, his sound is profoundly influenced by this intersection of city, nature, mind, and spirit. 

His groovy live and DJ sets brim with musicality, enthusiasm, nostalgia and optimism.

He runs the Continental Drift imprint (Pablo Bolivar, Pier Bucci, Area) and hosts the weekly program Golden Ratio Radio on KZUM Lincoln 89.3 FM, Twitch, & Blast Radio.

"Saebius (@saebiusmusic), the mysterious Marseille based young talent draws on a wide range of stylistic influences from Radiohead to Monolake. It led him to produce his own ambient and techno sound based on atmospheres and rhythms.  After 6 years experimenting sound design he finally released his first promising EP in 2017 on Lowless called Water Memories. He received good support from the scene. It was the occasion to share for the first time his singular hypnotic and melancholic signature. His second appearance on the label as remixer in the Four Sides of Orithyia released in November 2018. This offered him more visibility and support from actors like the respected Monument media. It naturally drove him into some other projects in 2019/2020 with an EP release on Ritualism (@ritualism-records) and  his Lifeform LP on Agos Universe (@agardenofsound). In 2022 Saebius released "Lurk in The Water" for the famous compilation "Rhizome" on Lowless (@lowless-music) and a new album is already scheduled on this same label in 2023".

Delayed aims to connect the New York underground scene with talent worldwide and present what is exciting in underground electronic music. Apart from the enormous support she is offering to the scene, she has joined musical muscles with her partner Gilles Wasserman in a duo known as Moon Patrol, creating breathtaking arrangements and being released on such labels as Huinali Recordings and On Board Music.

He was the creative director and label head at @silent-season, a music label influenced by his natural surroundings. In the past 6-7 years, Johan has been active with the curation of Accent Records and has presented some exciting releases in ambient, techno, and experimental realms. 
The mix Sub Accent made for us is an intricate journey that slowly unfolds from lush downtempo into dub, deep and hypnotic techno endeavor.
