Materia Ep is the second installment of Ruhig's double Ep, inaugurated with Particles Ep in January 2016. Originally the records were supposed to be out in the same period, but due to problems with our ex-distribution, Materia Ep got postponed of few months. The release starts with the transcendent Trento, respecting Ruhig's tradition of broken beats IDM deep techno leaning openers. Consecutive cut The Vector is a thumping mixtures of drones and heavyweight hihats designed with some attention for dancefloor. The slow-burner Materia delivers some powerful mist-shrouded kicks on the B-side, that wraps up with Sciame, a massive droning wave of electro wasps, which still keeps some classy chilled out elements somewhere in the background, behind the thunderous main drums. Vinyl unfortunately left no space for the extra only digital track 1870, this last one is percussive retro-futuristic jam of psychedelic mouth arp and huge mallets drums. The track will be available for free download in the same period of the vinyl.

First recorded jam on my eurorack setup.
The Left channel of the Morphagene plays into the 4MS SMR which has its rotation being gently modulated. A the 4MS is self patched with the post env outs then the SMR's odd and even channels have been fed into the high and low inputs of the Three Sisters. The right channel of the Morphagene is runing through Clouds Parasites then into the centre input of the Three Sisters. The all input from the Three Sisters runs into the 4MS Tapographic Delay and the final stereo blend has been recorded.

It claims the sky, the clouds and all the atmospheric changes. 
Sky has been the biggest human dream since the beginning.

As all the past releases we involved six artists from all over the world without any restriction of what their vision about techno.
A Sacred Geometry, Unjin, Saphileaum, Motionen, Feral and Michal Wolski contributes into this amazing journey called “ọrun”.

With his debut release on Higher Resonance, Sacha Ketterlin creates a new level where Ambient and Techno meet on a par, merging into an epic sound symphony, far away from stomping tool techno. The result of his sound exploration on the modular system offers four tracks with a clear and minimalistic structure driven by floating pads and powerful basses. Every track enchants the listener by dreamy and remote voices which get lost in a cosmic nebula. A universe of sound.

Spheric sounds by the modular system offer a cosmic expanse in which a heartbeat emerges. The interplay of these two elements invite the listener to dream and dance. At this point the journey continues with rolling basses and punctual sub-basses giving a solid foundation to the second track. A playful melodic synth-line comes up with short decay on an continually morphing pad supported by subtil and epic voices that get lost in a wide space. Driven by 16th hi-hats and a snappy kick by the modular system, Odyssey leads to an explosion of the senses. A dance of forces. The B-side starts with the emphasis on a playful and pushing energy initiated by a synth that dances like an alarm through the stereo image. An interplay of bright filter-ping sounds and a deep chord accentuated by a rumbling profound sub-bass and a powerful bass drum. The last track invites to find peacefulness with soft glittering sounds, groovy 909-drums and dreamy vocals. Grounded by a deep sub-bass and a chorus bass with a wide stereo image Starlight rounds off the journey over the cosmic ocean of sound.

The core motifs of "Bubble Nebula" are then re-worked throughout the wave-like ebb and flow of "Bubble Nebula Eyes Down," and Italy's Ruhig remixes the release's title track into a pounding workout of shifting grooves and tensile atmospherics.
