A soothing and layered universe guided by primal rhythms. Granting music a function that is neither religious nor aesthetic, but holistic. Like the shamanism that exists in various parts of the world and attributes healing properties to sound, Lepante places the participants in a context where they are invited and encouraged to take full responsibility for their inner process rather than remain passive consumers of a cultural object. 

To conceive a music that facilitates a journey without a particular destination to reach, designing a slow, calm and minimalist sound tinted with fast and tribal percussives. 

Up where the sound of the drum is used to induce a state of altered consciousness. It has a psychological function and generates a sound energy which allows it to induce a state of trance. It is the primal sound that matters.

‘WAR1209’ finds Ukrainian artist shjva inducing trance states across an album equal parts tripped-out and dubby. Spanning brooding lysergic visions and locked-in dance floor hypnosis, expect drowsily impressionistic soundscapes and darkly cinematic gear across the 9-track duration. Total sonic immersion for the oddballs and the freaks.
 
Terraforming uncharted alien terrain, tracks like ‘X-Side’ and ‘Upper Limit’ descend into sprawling, widescreen exploration. Fathomless landscapes serving as vessels for deep introspection. ‘Enigmatic’, on the other hand, opts for detail and precision-tooled dynamics while retaining that same wide-eyed sense of wonder. Where ‘Dragonfly’ offers fractal fuel for ceremony and ritual, ‘Cloudhopping’ and ‘Psy-Fi Alien Dub’ wade knee-deep through some dub techno murk. Saving the direct and tunnelling for last, 'Banshee' and 'Chrysalis' are like two sides of the same proggy coin; one ominous, the other more optimistic and utopian.

Berlin-based record label Immaterial Earth prepare to release their debut extended player from label boss Prieste5s...Our pick for the premiere is 'Concentric'. Mastered by Isabel Schröer at Scape Mastering, the track conveys a laid-back parade of celestial soundscapes that evoke a post-Gregorian chorus tossed into the skies, as well as space-dilated FX frequencies that provide a sense of ethereal abstraction, before falling into floating breaks in the midsection.

For our August edition, we are delighted to invite Yerevan-based artist Cloistral. Also known as Yhii, Davit has been a true pillar of the Armenian underground scene, having been one of the key figures behind the belated Poligraf club. He is also the founder of Back&forth, an electronic music label, event and podcast series, focusing on the deeper end of techno.

As Cloistral, he recently released his album ' Ներսը և դուրսը ' on the Swedish label offworldcolonies ltd., where several of his works have already appeared. Today, he has crafted for us an immersive journey, blending high-pitched sounds, dark gloomy underlying basslines, and drone atmospheres that are characteristic of his unique sound.

Danza Nativa is happy to welcome Sebastian Galante (A.K.A. Seph), one of the most sophisticated producers of our scene, into our label During his fifteen years of experience with electronic music, he has won the recognition of key artists and labels from all around the world: Echocord, Insurgentes and his own imprint Aula Magna have been housing his latest musical outputs. Now, we are glad to bring you his newest -and deepest- techno works in our seventh release.

His sound design and mixing skills are some of the features that have gained him recognition - Ulizen EP is a perfect example of these. It consists of three tracks that unfurl into beautiful synth pads, warm textures and strident percussions, some of his very own characteristics. To round it all up, the french artist BLNDR re-imagines Seph's sounds on a fine and elegant remix that completes the release.
