The journey begins in the valley, where instinct guides the first steps. There is no plan, only a feeling - to leave the car behind and follow the nearest path upwards. The trail leads through a forest drenched in moss, damp earth underfoot, and the quiet breath of pines shading the way.
It is a beginning wrapped in stillness, as if the mountain itself is waiting.

As the ascent grows steeper, the landscape opens little by little. Between the trees, sudden windows of light reveal sweeping views of the surrounding hills, endless forests stretching across the horizon. Each pause carries a sense of wonder, the climb itself becoming part of the rhythm. The higher the path winds, the lighter the heart becomes, as though every step pulls the spirit closer to something timeless.

Near the summit, a hidden cave emerges. From the outside, it seems small and unassuming - but inside, it unfolds into a vast, otherworldly chamber. Stalactites and stalagmites form silent sculptures, while the last glow of the setting sun pours through the entrance, bathing the stone in a magical light. It feels like stepping into a secret only nature can hold, a moment of awe suspended in time.

This EP carries those impressions into sound — the quiet beginning in the valley, the momentum of ascent, and the luminous mystery discovered at the peak. A translation of fleeting beauty into rhythm and tone, held like an echo of the mountain itself..

This new VA offers a journey through contemporary soundscapes, where sound, texture, and rhythm interacts with fluidity. Nine productions revolve around a shared balance of energy, space, and emotional depth, creating a continuous sonic flow.

The journey opens with Cyberlife, delivering a dark, soft introduction, a slowed-down break with percussive undertones, perfect for easing into the immersion. The energy builds with Jafadan, driven by a dub groove and resonant toms, gradually adding depth to the sonic material. Hohe continues the ascent with a tribal, textured track, built on repetition and vibration in an organic loop with hypnotic tension. Mersel pushes the narrative into an analog and psychedelic dimension, with massive basses and expansive synths. Solarythm steps in with a faster tempo and granular, trancy layers, where heavy bass intertwines with a hypnotic melody. Fonzo shifts the journey into a sci-fi universe, combining break rhythms and dissonant synths to create an evolving, kinetic soundscape. horizon has been one of his biggest hits and one of cocoons & somas best selling vinyl. a massive hit on most festivals. now re-released and new mastered. ulrich schnauss the master of electronica, funkdvoid the scottish king of techhouse, tigerskin as one of berlins busiest producers , beroshima himself and so many other artists.
the funkdvoid remix and beroshima mix has been remastered. those two mixes were released on soma in 2009 but not distributed in many areas.
ulrich schnauss comes with a gorgeous techhouse mix. you all must have heard of tigerskin and his well crafted music. this outstanding producers comes with a classic floorstomper american style. the funkdvoid mix is still one of my all time favourites next to beroshimas skyflyer. and now finally back on its origin label muller records !
