Over the six distinctive tracks on Forbidden Islands, Madrid duo Uanamani defines their broad and multi-faceted vision of techno and ambient. The two genres become one in Derk & Iterbio’s hands. Propulsive rhythms surge forward, peak and disintegrate into plumes of heady fog. Float with the weightless two openers, drill deep into dubwise territory with “Punatori,” soar with club cut “Poveglia,” then ride out the smooth descent.

Tlacactoc Uetzcayotl (nahuatl concept of nothing/silence) combines his creative profession as a web designer and developer with his constant search for sound aesthetics.
This project shares with us some compositions inclined to minimalist textures and rhythmic figures, full of details, with influences from various electronic psychedelic styles.

Typhoid Mary is a journey that reflects desolate and dark panoramas at the beginning and culminates in an explosion of colours through different episodes. This is not a conceptual album as such, but rather, as Tlacactoc describes it, an approach to some of the styles that he most prefers and enjoys as a lover of frequencies and signal flows.

The slogan of the project lives up to its aim: Let's witness together the great mystery.

Bogdan Manolache from Bucharest, Romania is the mind behind the Silent Society project. 

Considering himself as a music addict since childhood, always paying attention to the novelties related to sound and its authenticity, he constantly seeks to hone his ability to reveal the instrument from which each sound heard within the music has emerged.

After years of script writing (a process always instigated by the simple act of listening to music), the artist took a sharp turn into sound editing where a beautiful universe soon opened up for him: sound design and music production, where intriguing sounds, echoes, reverberations, cuts, sound design became part of his everyday life. In Bogdan's words that was the moment when life really began for him.

"Almost Happy" and "Gods" are film scripts. Seen in the mind, written on paper. A third was intended, as part of a Trilogy. The act of reading a film pales before the act of watching it. So, as the first two scripts did not make it to film, the third was metamorphosed into something else. Intended to be a film, it became music.

Season of the Angels wet in the distance, but progressive, abstract, psychedelic, provocative as much as in narrative and use of sound. A journey that has the slightest chance of pleasing a story junkie and a music soothsayer.

What you can hear in Seconde Aride's sets is a medley of sub-heavy, breaksy and deep beats covering a wide range of styles. This one is a rather low-paced ballad weaving somewhere between ethereal deep techno, ambient, and stuff that never asked to be classified. Yet, samples all have an identity, be they recorded from the depth of the sea or generated by the chip of a synth. Seconde Aride approaches djing as a way of aggregating these ecosystems in his own fashion, thus creating new sonic worlds.
