'A re-issue of this timeless italo ballad produced by Italian percussionist Massimo Pacciani. The song was recorded in 1984 in Marzio Bennelli’s studio in Florence with an Oberheim OB-X, Yamaha DX7, Marzio on guitar and the great vocals of Riccardo Galardini. They took inspiration from Flashdancers – Maniac (an italo cover of Michael Sembello’s ‘Maniac’) which they recorded the same day in Bennelli’s studio. Remastered from original master tapes.'

After the first successful volume of remixes Valique returns with second monster ep. As expected you will find a big variety of boogie, nu disco and deep house groove remixes, but the funk is not missing from the heart of this release.

Four unreleased songs remixed by Valique’s modern and unique style featured on the release with two of them appeared twice as dub and cutstrumental versions.

The ep opens up with a cosmic slo-mo burner nu disco and dark tech funk mix on Dr Cut’s “Red Hot Chilli Cuts” travels to the uptempo deep funk-acid house on Timewap inc’s “Afrofunk” to disco tech-funk mix on Funky Destination’s “Down To The Music” to end up with acid swing house on Emmanuel Bravo’s “Litlle Swing. One thing is sure for this release, it will blow up your mind!

Kicking 2024 off with an incredible edit on our 'X-PRESSINGS’ edit series by London-based sonic duo Beyond The Struttosphere. They're currently dominating, showcasing their considerable musical production expertise and unwavering passion for cosmic, chugging dark disco.

Their debut EP released on Gouranga Music found much acclaim among Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston’s A Love From Outer Space online fraternity, also appearing on Juan Mclean’s (DFA Records) contribution to Tim Sweeney’s Beats In Space mix series.

OsloClubCast was initiated by Vinny Villbass in 2012 to promote the emerging club scene of the norwegian capitol. Every week, the clubs of Oslo sent resident dj´s to record their sets at the tiny venue Turkish Delight (RIP). The response, both live and online was massive!

Since then, OsloClubCast has been hosting recordings at festival stages and different Oslo venues, focusing on both legendary and fresh talents, spreading the essence of the norwegian sound.
