Flowing from Hispanic roots, Samir is an aspiring R&B singer from Honduras. Raised in the Bronx amongst a music-oriented family, Samir Martinez received his calling at the age of 17, when people began taking note of his style and foresight of music composition. As he grew older, Samir developed a love for production amongst his two brothers. In addition to this newfound love of production, Samir took to the realization that in order to further assist his chances at making it big as a musician, a proper education was required. In 2008 Samir enrolled to The New School University, a private institution in Downtown New York specializing in Journalism and art. The following year Samir declared his major in music to further provision his long-term goal of getting signed to a major record label.  Now that yesterday’s dream appears as today’s reality, Samir gives listeners that true crossover talent that the R&B circuit is missing. A singer, songwriter, and producer.
