Probably one of the tracks that created the Perfectly Strange fame is this remix. Back in 2006, making this kind of bassline for a trance track would be considered a sort of blasphemy. I just started to flirt with my affection for other styles of slower music, and in those genres, specifically minimal tech, having just a bass on the kick wasn’t that inconceivable. I remember after hearing Diringer – Topolino ( Diringer & Namito Remix ) I decided to implement this on Tomasz’s amazing “KNS”. I just felt this kind of minimalism and “standing trance” ( as a contrary to “driving trance” ) can really resonate with the original’s amazing atmospheres and melodies.

Few years ago I was on the remixing duties for the Eat Static classic – “Contact”, and somehow it took me over 2 years to complete. The truth is that I had a super hard time with making a proper remix to this gem, and the first version I did took plenty of time and eventually went to the trash bin. A year later I gave it another go and finally it was a proper one. But from Merv’s point of view I was just a dick that wouldn’t finish the damn remix. So when he was asked to remix Time Warp he returned the “favor” and took his time with it, and was really the last one to make it to the compilation train… To cut our main man Merv some slack, he was super busy too, but never the less I thought it’s karmatically funny.

In Perfect Stranger catalog - as previously mentioned - all of the known tracks were remixed at least once, with exception of two tunes. The first being “W” and the second (that also appears on the same album “Free Cloud”) is “Simple Cells”. It’s as peculiar as with “W” case, cause Simple Cells was a very effective dance floor weapon for a long time, easily avoiding the familiar “ok it’s getting old can’t play it any longer” concept. Obviously I was excited to hear Gabi wants to remix it, but what was way more exciting is to discover that his remixing adventure ended with such a magnificent result.

Generally speaking I am probably not the greatest collaborator, and most of my older works were pretty much solo. If I was doing a VS track I really had to do it with the other artist in the same space, that’s how I feel it should be done, and so I refused to do a VS track over the internet till this collaboration came around. Sometimes habits got to change and so it happened… The amount of data I got from Pete & James was enough to make at least 3 tracks, and it was so exciting to me that this project was never bounced back to the brothers… but only after it was finished.

“Easy” was probably the second best selling track I ever wrote. It was charted by big name Techno DJ’s and played all over at Techno and Trance events alike. It was also remixed by Quantize some 6 years ago, and they squeezed that break lemon till the max. When Liran requested to remix this track, I was curious to hear what he's gonna do, cause obviously going down the same alley again wouldn't be very interesting. The result is a truly fresh combination of minimal tweakage and maximal epicness. Sometimes it’s much easier to go the Easy road but it’s quite rewarding to take a road no one's taken before, and get it done with style.

Christian Cambas is back and celebrates his return with an original track on one of his favorite labels.&nbsp; 
Keeping things totally subliminal with a haunting melody and an apocryphal vocal snippet, we are kept locked in via the pulsating bass and commanding synths that seem to have been programmed in some kind of dismal future.&nbsp; 

A remix from label boss T78 was essential to this release, and the original has been completely flipped on its head, with a big surprise halfway through, as only he knows how. Another brother-in-arms from the other side of the pond is up next, and of course we are talking about Durtysoxxx who based his version on the synth progressions and provided the heads-down vibe of the package.&nbsp; 
UK duo Drumsauw seal the deal with a spacious mix, letting their rendition breathe effortlessly while keeping the production crystal clear.
