“Love is here for all of us”

my initial inspiration for “sending my love” came at the beginning of the “stay at home” lockdown. I immediately knew that one thing that I could do to help the world during this crisis was to send messages of love & positivity to the world. I created one per week & offered them as free downloads on SoundCloud. As a result of being created very quickly, the songs are all minimal & fresh.

“the intention is to create inspiration, relaxation, and optimism”

by creating “sending my love”, i hoped to establish a space to help myself and others relax and embrace a loving atmosphere; to aid in various spiritual practices such as healing, yoga & meditation (guided or solo), which can also be helpful in therapeutic purposes to enhance spiritual growth; to help the healing of our planet, mother earth… inspiring ecological consciousness that helps celebrate the sacredness of our land, sky, and sea. 

i am truly committed to the message of “sending my love”. in this journey, i learned more about myself and this helped me to develop my own strengths while confronting our collective vulnerability. i share these lessons with each of you.

“let’s be loving people

"sending my love" was birthed by creating chants of simple, minimal lyrics to build & nurture a caring and loving consciousness. it is not just to relax you; i invite you to engage in the music, to actively join the positive messages. hypnotic & repetitive "angelic" melodies and harmonies help enable anyone to sing along.

These pieces were written and inspired by teachers and spiritual leaders around the planet to help with spiritual growth, to help express healthy values and to offer guidance in shaping our world. Although this music was initially created to help during quarantine, these messages are timeless. 
and so, I share them with you.

There seems to be a readiness, I think, for people to hear and experience the world through Truth, Wisdom, Light, Love, Peace, and Equality for all.

As a sensitive woman in a wild world, life is teaching me to be brave, use my voice and stand up for what is right.

Because of these turbulent times, I chose to weave social justice into my lyrics, feeling the need to pour my heart and soul into words & melodies. 

As I ride this wave through our world in motion, I navigate mindfulness in my actions, thoughts and words. 

Embracing compassion and keeping empathy alive, brings conscious light and love.

I’m happy to be celebrating the release of the last single - “Forever Young” from my most recent album “Take My Hand”.
My inspiration for making a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Forever Young”, was that I grew up listening to the song and I always loved it. I especially would listen to the Joan Baez version.
Every so often I would pick up my guitar and mimic Joan I am super grateful to have made this beautiful rendition with the super talented John X Volaitis.
 “May you stay forever young” is such a simple phrase and yet such a powerful blessing for all of us.

This was the last song that was recorded for the Munda album with John X Volaitis. My dear friend Osher Levi (http://www.ojolo.world/) joined me on this track with her magical didgeridoo. We were joined by Donnacha Tierney with additional guitar. 
My inspirations were Ram Dass' "Be Here Now" and the concepts of circular time & history repeating itself. One story ends & another begins.

my initial inspiration for “sending my love” came at the beginning of the “stay at home” lockdown. I immediately knew that one thing that I could do to help the world during this crisis was to send messages of love & positivity to the world.

 

this song “breathe” was the first of what would become a beautiful series that I am sharing with the multiverse.

 

this one may be the simplest & most minimal of all, yet I believe that it is a powerful statement.

 

sometimes it’s so important to remember to just breathe.

Guided Meditation - Breathe Kindness

Rebecca Trujillo Vest is a music creator and collaborator, producer, singer/songwriter, community activist, and a philanthropic force of nature. Growing up in Santa Fe, NM, she began singing and playing guitar. She found contemplative moments making music to be a nurturing experience she describes as similar to a mother’s love—which led to her path as an artist and to create Osmunda Music, a band and brand which she uses to guide her creative output. As an artist having journeyed to many countries, she is influenced by many sources including world music, new age, pop, folk, rock, Americana, and children’s music.

She is a passionate activist for a wide range of causes from global warming and arts education to homelessness and hunger. Most recently, she established the nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization Pandion Music Foundation with two other artists; a free online platform empowering artists as they navigate the music industry through educational resources, workshops, wellness guidance, and direct access to experts — helping to provide a constant thread of support for music creators.

Rebecca and her husband are founding members of the band Space Babies. In 2010, they opened Earthstar Creation Center, a recording studio in Venice, California. Together they have co-produced many projects.
Rebecca lives with her family in Los Angeles.
