Here we go for a massive 100th edition of the Warning Mix series. To mark the end of our first "century", we decided to welcome back one of our absolute favourites. Back in the early days of Warning Mix '#6 we had S.O.N.S delivering a masterclass in Drum & Bass, still one of the absolute highlights on our SoundCloud. This time we got permission to share the live recording of his garden set at our Berlin party last summer, a three hour vinyl only journey into psychedelic music based on an out of this world selection and stunning mixing skills. We could actually end the series after this one - but don't worry, there will probably be a hundred more. Now turn on the volume, tune in to the music, drop out into the universe :-)

Delighted to have my good friend Dream Software join me on Noods at last for a two-hour cosmic exploration.

I’ll be at the control for the first hour playing some new dreamers and recent digs before DS provides us with an audio adventure showcasing the best in mind-expanding sonics.

Here is our recording of our three hour vinylset at Zentralwaescherei Zuerich right after christmas. 
We felt a warm resonance from the crowd and really enjoyed the whole ride. 

It's probably one of our favorite sets by date as it reflects records that have been in our collection for quite a long time and didn’t got played yet including some that just have a very high personal value for us.

@Zentralwaescherei is a sick venue really providing a safespace for all human kind.
Such an environment needs to be supported and is of high value, we are glad that there are so many enthusiastic and kind people behind it!
We wish you all a happy new year and our minds are with all the people who aren't save right now.

Our 40th mix is here! For this one, we're lucky enough to present a mix from London-based DJ and Beam Records label head, Mr Assister.

As huge fans of Ben's mixes and label, we're super excited this mix has found home on TSBU. An hour and a half of silky smooth, rolling tekky vibes of the old and new variety, this one is the perfect party starter.

Currently on tour here in Australia is the lovely, warmhearted Jesse aka Jeku (@jeku_fin), fresh out of Helsinki, Finland - and now based in Paris. 

Jesse and I played together at one of my favourite European spots, Post Bar in Helsinki last year. He's an incredible producer with a great talent for blending trance inspired sounds with a modern twist.- and here he showcases his incredible record collection & dj skills with a mix inline with the same style & class.

Animix One Hundred & Fifty: Jeku

We're absolutely over the moon to release this long-awaited mix, from a DJ that we've admired for so long, our beautiful friend from across the waters, Katie aka Lora Mipsum.

Free Shelter invites the bibimbap bowl with a french twist (whatever that is), @krijka, for their 42nd guest mix in their Free Shelter Invites series on IDA Radio.

Born in France but based in Seould, Krijka is one name not many probably know (yet) but soon will (guaranteed). With a few own releases, for instance the solo EP on Hard Beach Entertainment, the man of the hour has quickly garnered a big rep in his new hometown of Seoul by showcasing a personal sound not heard before. 

Krijka explains sets and productions as transformative journeys. Where fusing acid, hypnotic techno, progressive house and even a wee-bit of trance can be found. 

For his mix this time around, he does not shy away from the description and does what he does best.

Subsism has a big part to play in Lyon’s thriving music scene. He has not only co-founded the collective @atomasso, but also become a key resident at @everybodytrance. He is the ultimate selector with deep knowledge spanning across bass, techno, breaks and trance.  Subsism’s productions aren’t to be forgotten, his carefully curated set of releases are perfect for any sweaty dance floor.

“I’m always listening to lots of different types of mixes and productions, especially from the 2000-2010 period, which definitely inspire my own mixes and productions a lot. There seems to always be a specific sound or moment in an old mix or track I find, which then inspires me to produce or dig for that vibe.”
 
“I have a few gigs and releases planned over the next few months, which I’m so so excited for! It definitely feels surreal to be playing outside of Australia for the first time. Parisian DJ/Promoter, Thaïs (@thaispnbng) combines breakbeat and techno tracks with textured, experimental and ambient sounds to create emotional soundscapes. 
You can enjoy her sound in this mix which has been live recorded at Kiosk radio on May 20th.

Thaïs is always eager to unearth emergent artistic projects. As a promoter she has organized events in Paris, Strasbourg and Buenos Aires around visual arts and electronic music since 2016.
She’s now running emotional waves ~ a podcast and events series in Paris, showcasing talented artists from the local scene.
