Place Beneath The Pines

Oso was formed in 2013 by singer/songwriter Chris Lopez. After playing in multiple Indie Rock bands, such as The Rescue, More Than Sound, Scarlet Will, and Clouds in Motion in the mid 2000's, Lopez began playing shows in and around the Philadelphia region in pursuit of a more personal project. Oso displays genuine, warm folk tones with punctual melodies, while citing influences such as Glen Hansard, Gregory Alan Isakov, Joe Purdy, and Matt Walters. 

Oso is in the studio now working on his long awaited debut release.
