I wanted to apply a 2 chords progression to a new song, but was constantly reminded of other songs on 2 chords and wound up writing a medley of three pieces.

From 1966,. "For What It's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield, with Stephen Stills as song writer and lead singer, and Neil Young, Bruce Palmer, Dewey Martin and Richie Furay as co-members.

From 1969, "You Can't Always Get What You Want" by The Rolling Stones, with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards as songwriters, Jagger as lead singer, and Brian Jones, Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts as co-members.

From 1972 "Walk on the Wild Side" written and sung by Lou Reed.
