It’s the initiatory process that, if we decide to dive deep in it, allows us to face ourselves in a mirror and peal the layers of our own lies, the stories we tend to tell to ourselves. The ones that create the illusion we live in. It’s also about identifying what triggers us. Going through the practice of « Shadow Work » is a deep process of self-truth that helps us remember who we really are, what are our core values. It connects us to our heart, our true essence. It opens our hearts to the most beautiful marvels of our luminous being, simply because shadows are only parts that are not enlightened yet and by healing our wounds and transmuting them, they become the opportunity to transform into our most powerful gifts we can offer to the world to live in better harmony with ourselves and others. This set is one facet of the shadow work I’m going though. From Darkness to Light. From Doubts to Clarity. From Sadness to Joy. A very interesting and powerful process that I wish you to enjoy as much as I embraced it. ❇

 The voices in this episode are women who took part in the latest United Nations Ocean Conference. They are involved in law, insurance, policy, science, sustainability, and the arts.  They founded and run organisations, sit and advise on boards (or even paddle on them) and have dedicated their lives to the Ocean.
 
A major gender gap persists in ocean governance and finance:  women-led organisations and businesses in the blue economy receive less than one to 2% of major funding streams, and  women hold less than 20% of leadership positions in key international bodies. But they  constitute half of the workforce in small-scale fisheries and aquaculture, and they play crucial roles in science, conservation, and restoration efforts.  

 Because of this blue gender gap,  I wanted to dedicate this part 2 of my new series '30 voices from the UN Ocean Conference' to women.
