These songs were a part of the 2024 OST Composing Jam: Crunchtime competition. The focus of the songs is the Great One, a dragon that had a symbiotic relationship with humans. The Great One would clear the storms that would brew and humans would feed the dragon and praise through ritual. It has been many years since the Great One last woke. Dormant Lies the Great One is a chant that has been sung since the dragon last slept in order to wake it from its seemingly everlasting slumber. History of the Great One is a story told by the older humans who have seen the Great One soar across the vastness sky. The journey of humans is brief in the life of the Great One and other dragons, but regardless of this, there is beauty in their interactions. The deep azure sky holds memories of past humans, the dragon soars among and carries these memories.
