Inside My World (All Submissions) Part 1

Aspen and the Shadow is an imaginary 2D Top-Down Turn-Based/Puzzle RPG, and this album is a fake OST made for Aspen and the Shadow as a submission to Lone Rabbit’s OST Composing Jam #7. The OST is composed of 6 songs describing various moments throughout the game.

[ Track Descriptions ] 
 1) My Imagination Rules !! --- The opening cutscene, where Aspen jumps into the rainbow portal. Angel wings appear from her back as she flies down from the sky. 
 2) A Town of My Dreams --- Aspen begins to explore the world of Imagi-Nation. She discovers a cozy old town. Brick buildings, coffee shops, and a calm river. It feels as if it were just for her. 
 3) Shadow --- Nighttime begins to fall, and Aspen is walking around town as a great boom rings her ears. She sees a figure outlined in black from afar. Evil reeks in the air. 
 4) Outta My Way !! --- Aspen can’t stand by and watch her world be destroyed. She treks up towards the figure. On her way, she encounters enemy minions. Using her new found powers, she strikes them down left and right.
 5) THIS IS MY WORLD --- Aspen finally makes it to the evil figure she saw earlier. It’s a teenage boy who calls himself Shadow. He tells you he plans to conquer every world and become god. Aspen, fight! 
 6) Stay Courageous (Game Over) --- Even if you fall, you must get back up! Aspen, it all falls on you!

'Minor Crab' is a generic boss-like enemy that you encounter at the end of the Shallows (first area). They are tough enemies that serve the Great Claw, seeking only to eradicate Kyoko's dream bubbles. They think themselves mighty, but alas; they are only minor crabs.

'Bogart Blobfish' would be a derpy shop owner that you encounter in the first area of the game. He sells only the finest of wares, from jars of sand to tattered pieces of kelp.  He does surprisingly good business, but the poor fish doesn't realize that this is because the decent folk of the Shallows take pity on him.

'Kyoko's World' is the main theme of the game. It represents the core of Kyoko's character/mind: fun and whimsical, but with a twisted edge to it. The track is mainly orchestral, but it also incorporates weird bubbly synths to help create an underwater atmosphere.

Remembrance

An online music competition where musicians and composers all around the globe are challenged to compose an original soundtrack of any style for an imaginary game, in just a little over than a week, based on a given theme.
