@pedrocapelossi is a Barcelona-based electronic music producer and DJ originally from Brazil. His unique sound is characterized by the inventive use of atmosphere and rhythm, drawing from a range of global dance cultures. Pedro has released tracks on various labels, including Seven Villas, The Soundgarden, Sound Avenue, Loot Recordings, and TOR. He has gained support from renowned artists such as Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, and Eelke Kleijn, among others.

Pedro has been a resident DJ for the Valhalla project in Barcelona and has played at various clubs and events around the world, including PACHA, NOM Barcelona, and D.EDGE. His DJ sets focus on underground electronic music genres such as deep house, techno, and downtempo, making him a sought-after artist for both club gigs and festival performances.

Sus principales influencias son el israelí Guy J y John Digweed. Sus sets suelen destacarse con sonidos hipnóticos pasando por diferentes paisajes sonoros y acompañados de una línea progresiva, donde el objetivo principal es transmitir algo especial y único en cada uno de sus sets.

Ostrich has carved a path as a DJ and producer, pushing a minimalistic sound that pulls from downtempo, dub, deep house, and techno. As a DJ, these disparate sounds are woven together in a creative arch at venues such as Stereo Montreal—where he is a resident—Berghain/Panorama Bar, Output NY, BPM Festival, SXM Festival in Saint Martin, and D-Edge in Sao Paulo, among many others.

On the production front, he follows a similar sonic ethos, creating enticing, groove-led cuts that have found their way to labels including Leftroom Records, Ark To Ashes, High Seas Over, Opulence, Souvenir Music and Sublease, in addition to being featured on John Digweed's Transitions radio show, Andre Galluzzi's The Sound of Berlin 2010, and Ryan Crosson and Matt Tolfrey's Don't Be Leftout mix compilation.
