B2 Datura, the EP's last act of sorcery, is driven by a bold roaming synth bass, cunning key changes, trippy vox and discerning judders, asking us if any of this is real??

AV1 is the new project of Chris Carrier & Le Loup. With countless releases under their belts, the parisian producers are long time heroes of many around the globe. It’s an honor to welcome these two with a release that merge the different sounds they listened over their long-spanning careers. From trancy tech house, to dark techno beats and a more slow-downed electroish piece on the B-Side, here is a first solid appearance on the label as a duo. Are they done with us? Probably not.

Máximo Gutiérrez, DJ and producer from the new wave of Uruguay. Born in 1998 in Durazno, Uruguay.
Although he was surrounded by music his entire life, it was at the age of 17 that he discovered his country’s underground scene, where he immediately formed a strong connection and inclination toward it. He met artists and individuals who became key influences for him, such as Daniel Anselmi, Hernan Gonzalez (Two Phase U), DJ Koolt, and Z@p.
To this day, Máximo continues to refine his sound, which he considers to be “an endless quest.”

On the A-side, Waveratio’s Distorted Analytics and Heart of Darkness set the tone with a fusion of techno, electro, and trance-infused energy. The B-side features both producers working together under their new project, Former Being, delivering tracks that maintain the same intensity while shifting toward a more EBM-influenced sound, marked by evolving structures and a mysterious atmospheres.
