Two worlds collide in number nine from OPIA Records as they welcome on board Orbital London maestro Jack Michael, and BODY MVMT ambassador, Robert James for the ‘Salt & Shake’ EP. The UK pair join forces for two collaboration tracks, receiving remixes from two of Uruguay’s finest, Michelle and Fede Lijtmaer. 

Opener ‘Pleasure Beach’ is a dynamic dance floor assault, subtly organ led through a storm of rough and ready sounds, a familiar energy from the OPIA label, pushing club ready material in a discerning fashion. Providing her ‘Pepsi Max Mix’ is live performer, and label affiliate Michelle. A slightly more progressive take on the original, ready to make an impact. 

With more snap than a Paul Hollywood shortbread is the B1 ‘Great British Break Off’. A rollercoaster of intensity, intelligently arranged by the dynamite duo. Clean broken drums complimenting the sub heavy bass. Delivering the final track of the EP is Fede Lijtmaer remixing the B1. A classy outing from the South American, a spiralling trip through beeps and bleeps.

Ending a turbulent year with our new Positive Tones EP. The fourth release of our Barcelona-based label Kommuna is featuring a mesmerising track from the legendary UK breakbeat duo “Stopouts” followed by a hazy bleep infused after-party tune. The B-side shakes things up with a dancefloor focused UK garage number that is set to make some noise and the EP concludes nicely with the aetherial breaks of driahn.

B2. N-GYNN - BA FOUR (PCLUB008)

March 2021 will see the launch of Planet Orange Records with a 12” vinyl only release that embodies the much loved early sound whilst still pushing modern electronic styles the label thrives on, offering four cuts of slick electronic house music complete with artwork by Endless Visual. 

A1 comes from top guy and friend of the label, Markus Sommer.Based in Offenbach, Markus is no new name to the scene and we are super proud to be able to release some of his music. 

A2 is Pete Melba's debut release coming on his own label. A playful mix of  electronic house grooves featuring classic and modern sounds. 

B1 is from Leeds based, Laik Records founder Burge. A nod to the electro sound while keeping very in line with the sound of the label. Definitely an upcoming artist with super talent. Watch this space! 

Finally B2 is from our brother Human Logo, based in London and runs his label Technical Glitch. Bill has many a digi release under his belt, very happy to have him on board with our first release on wax.
