System Error’s newly minted sub-label Filet Mignon opens its doors with a cut that sets the tone for everything to come - refined, moody, and deeply rooted in the underground. The inaugural release comes from Space Wax founder NVNDO, backed by two remixes from the legendary Len Lewis, whose name still carries the weight of countless timeless after-hours moments.

On his remix for “Ice Ice,” Len Lewis delivers one of those rare tracks that bridges eras without losing its edge. It’s groovy, confident, and hypnotic - built around a chunky, rolling bassline that instantly locks you into its rhythm. The percussion is taut yet loose enough to keep things playful, while subtle FX and vocal snippets drift in and out of focus like flashes of light in a smoky basement. The production is tight but never sterile - the swing, the space, and the little imperfections are what make it move.

True to form, Lewis doesn’t aim for bombast - he builds a vibe. “Ice Ice (Len Lewis Remix)” unfolds slowly, pulling dancers deeper with every bar, layering tension and release through micro-shifts in groove and texture. It’s a track designed not to dominate the floor but to own it, that perfect moment between the night’s high and the next wave.

We’re thrilled to have another legend of the underground on O.C.D. : Alex Martin.
A very well respected mainstay in the Spanish Techno scene, Alex’s career spans 3 decades under different production aliases and releases on seminal labels like F-Com, Klang Elektronik, PIAS, Cosmos Records, Minifunk, Boozoo, Pagoda Recordings, many of which are now sought-after collectors material.
Alex is a very good friend of the label since long and a while ago he shared with us his DAT archives filled with unreleased material from the early years of his career. It took us a while, but we are now ready to give him the rightly deserved space on our Secret Sun series.
This is the first volume of a collection of never heard before music from Alex Martin under some of his several aliases, retrieved from the vaults to be finally made available to the world.

It was an honour to work with Andy on this release, we were moved by his raw passion and love for music. The record is a celebration of Andy’s life and musical legacy.

Profits will be donated to Watford hospice.
