While our family was binge-watching the 1990’s sitcom “3rd Rock from the Sun” I was inspired by Ben Vaughn’s (also from Southern New Jersey) rockabilly/retro-rock theme song. So I decided to step back in time (Keepsakes was mostly about time travel)to the 60’s and write a surf rock guitar tune (aka The Ventures - I played the LP "Golden Greats" so much I wore it out). I wanted to add a little more texture and I thought it would be fun to sing Doo Wop so I added 4-part vocals.
