Other View are an Independent, Power Prog Metal band founded in 2003.

Initially heavy metal oriented, the band has undergone stylistic and formation changes which have led it closer to the Power Metal genre, with strong progressive influences becoming an important part of their style in recent years.

Of the original lineup, singer Lon Hawk is the only remaining member, with the core of the current lineup having joined just a few years after formation and the newest members entering the group as late as 2016. 

The current lineup features Lon Hawk on vocals, Giacomo Bizzarrini on drums, Antonio La Selva on Bass, Matteo “Vidar” Cidda on Keyboards, Francesco Tuscano on lead guitars and newest member Francesco Cammarata, who has recently replaced band co-founder Stefano Candi (who is still collaborating with the band in a consulting role), on lead and solo guitars.

The band’s first opus, Going Nowhere, was released in 2013 and was well received both critically and by listeners. In 2014 the song “Exile” was chosen to be part of the official soundtrack of the popular MMO videogame “Path Of Exile”.

The band announced it was beginning to work on its second album in late 2014. Early in 2017 the album was announced for release on May 1st 2017 and is titled “When Daylight Is Gone”. This second album is an ode to the night in all its forms.

In the second part of 2017, Other View will be concentrating on promoting “When Daylight Is Gone”, playing live and beginning work on their third album.
