Two 3 Ways - Don't Stop Believin'

This song was created by Bryan Mahanes and brought to life by the musical collaboration of songwriter, Bryan Mahanes and master musician, pianist and arranger, Tommy Gill.  The song was inspired by work Bryan had done with Greg Tavares of the Have Nots! Comedy Improv when Bryan performed with the Have Nots! from 1994 to 1997.   Greg and Bryan performed the "Charleston Rap" live in the show in which the actors spouted rhymes about the City of Charleston in a fun, historical and comical way.  This work and the love of this City were the inspirations behind the piece.  

Bryan later began performing music professionally in Charleston around 1997 and wrote the piece in 1998.  Soon after, Bryan met Tommy Gill in 1998 and had the opportunity to perform with him live on stage.  Bryan reached out to Tommy Gill regarding the "In Charleston" project it was Tommy Gill that brought this song to life.  Tommy wrote closely with Bryan on composing the music for the track, and writing and arranging all of the musical parts for the instruments that appear on the recording.  Tommy's ability to capture the essence of the song was and is remarkable and show's another side of his incredible talent.  This piece of music is mostly unknown as Bryan's efforts to get the City of Charleston to endorse it were unsuccessful.  

None the less, the song is an anthem created for the great City of Charleston and we hope that any and all who hear will enjoy it's fun, upbeat representation created within the music and lyrics.

It is posted now in dedication to Tommy Gill and his immense talent.  We will miss him very much and are so grateful to have worked with him on this and other projects in this great city.
