Pisetzky’s sound comes from a walk through elevated paths, passing through obscure lanes of a mysterious soul. Hidden between its urban inspiration, his music expresses a unique vibe that drifts from a dialogue though this inspiring metropolitan nature. 

Shy spirits whisper wistfully synths of a never ending voyage, five alluringly deep tracks that hit their hypnotic impetus as soon as you let them lead their full ambitious course. 

Elevation, born from a collaboration with Primal, has been produced in a nordic desolated environment in the outlands of Copenaghen. It's a strong melting pot of numerous energies with its expansive arpeggios that introduces a darker twist with icy melodies and a grand break. 

Hide, an enthralling voyage between the depths of a contrasting yet soothing discourse between soulful psychedelia and dark atmospheric synth explorations 

Adria, is a merger between emotions and techno layers that convey in a visionary path that swallows you into soundscapes and abstract atmospheres. Being the main-belt asteroid and the most dance floor-driven track, it will be published in Digital Only. 

Distant Echoes Remix, is a concrete acid induced groove concretion with a psychic rawness drawn by a strong techno base that keeps the track to an intense breathless tempo and mysterious soul 

Inland Remix is the techno adaptation of an abstract mystic journey, where melody surfaces shyly from behind a curtain of reverb and industrial drums to tell you its story.

The Israeli producer Yotam Avni, though not one of the main players in the Stroboscopic Artefacts story to date, nevertheless shows that he is definitely here for a reason: having contributed with an entry in the Monad series back in July, he returns with a new set of tracks that fit perfectly into the label’s overall aesthetic of evolving hyper-reality, while also being a strong personal statement. With both his S.A. debut and this new offering, Avni shows himself to be a truly ‘progressive’ musician: a creator whose musical techniques are informed by his creative disposition and not the other way around, an individual who seems to be using the richness and differentiation of human experience in order to let yet more of it arise.
The new record begins with the galloping rhythm of “Tehillim”, bringing a whole inventory of struck wood and metal elements into play, and leading listeners on an adventurous voyage through liturgical chanting and volcanic eruptions of synthesizer magma, all the while being accented with nimble percussive fills that convey the improvisational feel of classic bebop drummers. The following “Orma,” while more stripped down in terms of individual elements, continues down the same path with clever spatial arrangements, and with tonal and percussive elements that seem snatched out of their buys urban environments and placed under austere laboratory investigation: this holds true for the isolated bits of sax and vaguely middle-Eastern percussive accents that distinguish this track, and which leap out mischievously from their carefully controlled setting.
“Shlok” begins with a deep subterranean kick pattern and percolating bell tones that, while first bringing to mind recent efforts from Planetary Assault Systems, soon transform into something much unique to Avni’s imagination - smooth arcing vocals and contrasting shades of nocturnal ambience turn this into a very sinuous and sultry piece of rhythmic music. Once the listener has been lured in by this siren song, the closer “Even” brings the EP’s most forceful and demanding beat - though its heavy punch is tempered with a sense of contemplative sophistication. Once the insistent beat is overlaid by a shimmering latticework of piano, breeze- like pads, and concentrated string plucks, it testifies to Avni’s ability to create tracks that are loaded with emotional nuance and defy easy description.

The eleventh EP is a collection of new remixes based on originals from The Plant Worker and Głós

A heavyweight four piece have contributed reworks that include the mighty MindTrip head Pfirter, Ekserd, Cassegrain and Blind Observatory respectively.

For this DT:Premiere we chose “Cut Tongues” remixed by Cassegrain that has dark edged sound and stomping beat to begin. Droning electric waves pulse continuously and fill the mix with a sinister atmosphere complemented by stuttering hi-hats and a certain sonic flair, making this a heady experience full of subtleties and depth from multiple layers.

'made of CONCRETE' kickstart 2020 with a long-awaited release from Alek S, one year after his latest EP. He’s joined by Sascha Rydell, one of his favourite artists, taking on remix duties. 

Deep and dubby, immersive and dance-inducing - these coordinates can always be found in Alek S productions and this release makes no exception. 'Far Outside' introduces the deep atmospherics, with its metallic elements and slow burning melody, while 'Sweatbox' creates an entrancing mood with its timbered percussion and pulsating lead. 'Ostkreuz' stands for the dubby, restrained piece, with tempered percussion and bassline that give a womb-like feeling. And over the last 14 years, the imprint has nurtured a reputation for its line-blurring electronic abstraction and dancefloor experimentation, releasing influential material by artists like Speedy J, Kangding Ray, Donato Dozzy, Paula Temple, Rrose, Ben Klock, Wanton Witch, and of course Lucy themselves. Naturally following the label's ten year threshold, the pandemic pause and Mortellaro's subsequent artistic re-evaluation, OTHER FACTS emerges as a fresh entity, fully unplugged from Stroboscopic Artefacts' dancefloor mainframe, with its gaze pointed on widescreen cinematic sound design and audio-visual art.
