🎛️ This track is the deep club version of one of my upcoming EPs. Although less pronounced in this version, the track is inspired by and pays tribute to David August and his iconic version of "Because I'm Black" played during a legendary Boiler Room session, as well as Daft Punk's Veridisco. These two tracks have had a profound impact on my career and greatly influenced my vision of music and, above all, how to produce it. Here you can already hear the bass sample and breakbeat section from one, as well as the subtle integration of harmonies from the other. I hope this version will make you want to discover the rest soon.

Eric Volta and Robbie Akbal recently teamed up in Berlin to create a hypnotic druggie groove. Inspired by a Burning Man-esque driving journey, combined with organic percussion, mystical elements, vintage samples, and crazy synth lines, this record is a real trip on sound.

The record comes together with two amazing remixes by The Mole and jozif. Both unique in their ways but sure to be liked by many taste-makers in the circuit.

Jozif (Bedrock-Culprit) is a talented and amazingly happy-minded person. Always delivering funky and sexy grooves in his productions, and on this occasion, he shows his true form! 

This is a quality release all around. Expect smiling faces when you drop this remix!

The sun sets its orange glow of dusk over a flock of seagulls in the warm breezy summer air, sending warmth and energy across the horizon. A collection of elegant flowers blossom with textures of gentle euphoria, enhancing movements with rich percussive soundscapes. The tide washes over a stream of organic elements with raw emotional resonance. All uniting in a way that can only be related by love, happiness and eternal sunshine. Delivering a mood that suggests to the listener to embrace the natural outstanding landscapes of this planet.
The second EP release from London based label “Interlude” who introduce the artist “Mazzè” a young music maker hailing from Szczecin,   Poland.
Delivering all together 5 tracks, including 2 remixes from UK based duo “Fluida” and another Polish native “Enigmatic”.
"Interlude" is a London based Electronic Music label. Founded eternally in 2019. A creative outlet aimed to explore electronic music in some of its most unique forms, not so much club orientated, neither specifically ambient nor downtempo, but something of an Interlude between. Releasing Deep, Organic sounds with an emotional touch. Connecting new or up and coming music makers from around the world.
For this remix we have “Fluida” who consist of friends Graham and Jake, an emerging UK based music duo, typically performing live on a Hang Drum in their DJ sets. Traversing between headphone listening and euphoric dance floor journeys, Fluida’s music manages to be both club friendly and intimate. The result is a breadth of sound that connects deeply with people both in the early evening and at those special moments in the early hours of the morning.

You’re The Only Happiness There Is For Me

PREMIERE: Mazzè - Sound, Music, Joy & Life (Fluida Remix) [Interlude]

Some days have been harder than others to go through. I lose track of what day it is because of the isolation. There is sadness knowing there are millions of people who are grieving the loss of their family and friends this year that should not have happened this way.  There are many more that don't know they are on the list. I've worked hard to make it to this point. There is so much more music to play and give away hoping to leave a piece of me with them. As I play I have another great grandbaby on the way. will my music be the only way they get to know me. I guess that depends.

This piece has other instruments, 4 tracks, which often changes the story. I have also uploaded just the piano where all the music begins. The music is layered one improv over the others. There is no mixing, only what I hear in my head as I play. It can't be changed. It is what it is, what I'm feeling at that moment.  The music is completed usually in 20-30 minutes. It either works or it doesn't.

The Beginning and the End

There's no need for pyrotechnics if you can execute catchy ideas well. This is the main idea behind the first solo EP of Enigmatic on Saturn Return.

The three tracks are admirable for their similar approach: a gentle pulse underpinning the track that becomes a full-on groove with hypnotic loops and winding synths well organized, stuck you in a limbo between bass and melody.

If you close your eyes, you might imagine a slow-burning deep mix.

Wow, hadn't realised what a journey SoundCloud would take me on.  After many years of passive listening to music I've dieted on a variety of tastes. My appetite for new sounds is undiminished and SC provides plenty of food. I am not a musician and have only recently started to listen positively to the sounds. My early years began listening to music from ABC, The Beatles, The Carpenters Dire Straits Eagles Fleetwood Mac Genesis Elton John Led Zeppelin Gilbert O'Sullivan Rod Stewart Supertramp Tangerine Dream Vangelis The Who and many more.
If you can't spot a trend in my current likes it may be because it is diverse. I love listening to all my playlists which contain tracks that I like and if you like any of the music you must thank the artists not me.
