Following the great response of their first release, London-based label OTHERTONES have pushed the boundaries once more with another exciting set of productions. This time the task falls to Antony Difrancesco and his Latency EP to continue the label’s rise in acclaim and respect.

An artist that has steadily built up his reputation as one of the most promising talents on the underground circuit, Antony is here free to showcase the true range of his expertise. ‘Jam’ is a prime example of the depth of his influences, infusing the traditional house blueprint with an intangible air of ambience. On Side B, ‘Dimplex’ offers further proof of this and, in keeping with the ethics of the label, is complete with a remix from the ever-elegant and highly respected Vera.

Another showcase of the sound that has become synonymous with the label, Latency is an EP that is rooted in the underground whilst still creating a sound firmly embedded in the future.

Brand new, London-based imprint, OTHERTONES, launches with a stellar three track release from Dan Farserelli and Romanian artist MP, entitled 'Fat Cap' and backed with a Baby Ford Remix. The labels aim is pretty simple, tipping its focus towards releasing quality underground electronic music across the board from associates in the industry, while also welcoming established artists respected by the label-heads.

Here its inaugural release embraces a low-slung, stripped-back house aesthetic, with raw, gritty sounds and a profound depth instilled in the productions. Baby Ford adds a further weight to package with a dubbed-out ethereal interpretation of the title track. This is intelligent listening and a great indication whats to come, with this brand new imprint packing a punch from the very off.
