Luck of Access, Andrey Pushkarev's tastemaking label, is back from a year’s hiatus with a new release from an iconic name. No stranger to the world of the finest dub-techno, a Mancunian producer about whom we still don’t know much, @jszeiter delivers three elegant tracks that connect the dots between Detroit-dub and ambient. On the A-side, you’ll find “Scatter” — a rolling and intriguing journey through melancholic and enigmatic dub techno that’s enhanced by drifting delays, gentle forthright drums and crisp percussion. Over on side B, you’ll meet an impressive duo. “Silent Running” is the epitome of surreal broken beats and could become a perfect set-closing track. “Absence” reveals epic and immersive soundscapes that give you a glimpse of what a dystopian future may sound like. Absolutely unmissable.

The Brazilian-Serbian duo Duc In Altum returns to Rhizome following their 2020 digital mini-album As Above So Below. Our fifth vinyl EP on the label, Midnight Sun, finds Duc In Altum experimenting with dance floor acid rhythms and breakbeat-house grooves. The relentless remixes come from two other music friends, the Romanian icons Priku and Sepp.

“Midnight Sun” demonstrates the duo's acidy reflexes. Clever chords both center and accent the melody. The 303 line expands into the seething bass beneath as the track progresses into a deep dance floor burner.

Priku remixes “Midnight Sun” with his signature groovy, breezy style. Light chords drift above transformed 303, now a monster tech house bassline. The sun beckons.

Othervibe's foray into electronic music began in 1998, with the advent of mp3.com. There, he was exposed to artists like Trance][Control and Astral Projection.

In 2004, Othervibe learned how to DJ as part of his high school senior project.

His chance encounter with Pulsar founder, Kahn,  in a college class in 2010, inspired his drive to play more frequently, at professional events.

This turn of events pushed Othervibe to explore psytrance, and to, over time, learn about the full range of emotion in psytrance. 

Othervibe carried his love for melodic trance to his early exploration of psytrance and his melodically-oriented progressive psytrance and full on sets from 2011 to 2013. 

Not one to shy away from pushing the boundaries, Othervibe has developed a soft spot for groovy, bouncy, night psytrance, and this interest in night time music continues to this day.

In the last year or so, Othervibe has developed a taste for techno, progressive house, and house. He will continue to explore these genres, and perform them, alongside psytrance, at events throughout Southern California.

Always one to pay meticulous attention to track selection, Othervibe seeks to guide listeners and dancers through vast sonic landscapes which encompass a wide range of moods and emotions.

Known for crafting strong arcs in his sets, Othervibe is pleased to perform various styles of music and to capture some of these aural voyages for posterity on Soundcloud.

Born in Beijing, China, No Cliu relocated to New York at the age of six and a few years later moved to Southern California where he was primarily raised.

No Cliu's love for electronic music started as a teenager when he was first introduced to Progressive Trance and Drum and Bass. It wasn't until he moved to Japan at the age of 22, that he discovered Psytrance and its culture. It was in Tokyo that No Cliu discovered his new musical passion and began DJing at various small bars and clubs all over the city.

No Cliu remained in Japan for five years and in 2011 he returned to Southern California. Upon his return, he actively looked for a Psytrance scene in the United States.
This search led him to groups like Psytribe, Pulsar and Pulse where he would remain active in the scene and later became an official team member of Pulsar. No Cliu is also part of US based psytrance label, Pharmacy and Sculpted Sounds.

No Cliu’s released his first EP (Fatty Tuna) on Pharmacy, a US Trance and Psytrance label by world’s top DJ, Christopher Lawrence. Fatty Tuna reached number 4 on Beatport’s psytrance top 100 releases.
