Title track ‘Rock With Me’ brings crunching drums, hyped-up vocal samples, and stadium-sized rave stabs to the table, displaying Will Clarke’s knack for crafting enormous dance tracks. Featuring vocalist Vincensa, the second track ‘Lust’ is custom-built for the after-party, with freaked out synths and atonal bleeps meeting Vincensa’s effected vocals for a trippy and mind-bending affair.

The second entry in a three-part series of music based around his studio, Ian Pooley’s ‘Studio A Pt. 2’ for Radio Slave’s Rekids imprint sees the bonafide house legend deliver another choice selection of grooving hardware productions.

Leading the A-side is the fluttering synths and warped vocal samples of ‘JV Organ & Matrix’, which twists and turns through delightful FX and rumbling bass. ‘Version 2’ of the track follows, contorting elements of the original into a heads-down groover, with washed-out processing and stereo wizardry meeting classic dub techniques.

On the flip, ‘Back Up’ keeps it live and direct with hard-hitting, chunky drums and menacing acid lines, with an additional stripped back digital ‘Beats Bass’ version included. Rounding out the 12” is 101202, a dreamy slice of razor-sharp house, with gorgeous filtered pads drifting in tandem with strung out low end and skippy percussion.

Active since the early 90s, the German DJ/producer has released on the likes of Force Inc, V2 Records, and his own Pooledmusic, remixing for the likes of Deee-Lite, Carl Cox and many more, as well as being one of the few to be remixed by Daft Punk.

Fresh off appearing on @moma_ready and @acemo’s HAUS of ALTR presents HOA010 compilation, @escaflowne-iii is releasing his debut EP ‘The Stimulus Pack’ on Brooklyn label @sorry-records. 

The five-track record is a thrilling introduction to the Bay Area-born and New York-based producer, showcasing a tough and dynamic take on house music. It comes backed with a remix from @hueypmnemonic, who strips away the pads of ‘BeyBah’ and transforms it with crashing breaks and a bright melodic interlude.
