VD Premiere | Grace Dahl - Oh You Like It Groovy Huh | ATDVA001

For the fourth installment of DifferentSound's VA compilations, the label invites another list of 10 cutting-edge artists to showcase their skills. Dextro, Ferdinger, Steve Redhead, Off/Grid, Regent, Manuel Di Martino, Black Mirror Park, Franco Rossi, DJ SWISHERMAN, and Dylan Fogarty each offer their unique vision of contemporary club music, resulting in a collection of tunnelling and intelligent tracks that encompass both old-school and new-school vibes.

This mix, along with all the selected tracks, primarily focuses on the key elements I desire in techno, namely a locked-in groove and rhythm that persists throughout the entire duration. It transitions seamlessly between the early hours and peak time anthems, featuring established artists from the label as well as new talents. This unity symbolizes different generations and areas of techno-based music. With the support of the label head Pate Jaar's wide community following, this release is set to be an exciting game changer, scheduled for July 2023.
