This was a really fun project I worked on with my classmate Michael S. I played the part of hosting the majority of the time in the midst of our I guess you can say hybrid/repurposed content podcast. The Podcast-Podcast was a fun experience overall to do and hopefully lets others branch into different podcast types and genres as well.

Podcast Project (Mix)

This project was a short one (wo)man radio commercial, I over dubbed/voiced this piece for a fake ad in a Phineas & Ferb world invention by Dr. Doofenshmirtz. This was one of my favorite works to do, just because I've always loved radio jingles. Though this is not that, technically.

Radio Spot Production (Mix)

This was a very fun group effort done with all my RASP program classmates: Josh, Juan, Michael, Cornelius, Gerald, Keyonte, Stephanie, and myself involved. We cultivated a irish jig type of folk song and it was such a blast to put together from finding the samples, making the beats, to writing the lyrics. I contributed to composing by finding some drum samples, writing the verses and choruses as well as some mixing.

This was a very fun group effort done with all my RASP program classmates: Josh, Juan, Michael, Cornelius, Gerald, Keyonte, Stephanie, and myself involved. I composed some beat samples and wrote lyrics alongside other classmates and I think we achieved a nice sounding lo fi-ish hip hop/rap track. This was one of my first experiences creating a whole piece especially with others so that was different and definitely a learning experience, but I had a blast making and editing it.

Tamia Minto is a student working towards becoming a radio personality/music supervisor and sound engineer for the performing arts and who will be graduating with her RASP certificate in October of 2021. From there she hopes to work for and with major streaming companies, stations, and achieve a well rounded travel opportunity filled resume.

     In her younger years, Tamia participated in choir for eight years, took many semesters of mass media and sound process classes as well as did the school magazines and the paper and always had a passion for radio and music structure and culture because it makes her feel like no other platform of expression can. One day, she hopes to achieve radio hosting on Beats1 and becoming a music supervisor (control over any music played on all media: tv, video games, radio, film) because she wants to hear what she feels suits a dying media (radio and it’s top 7 songs replayed) deserves and expand the general public's ear.
