Inspired by the rainy season before summer, Masanori Yasuda is back with the new original track “Ajisai”, its name is taken from a Japanese native blue-purpled flower.

Along with the delicate flavor, the original mix gives relaxed beats and reminds us a scene in a rainy day. In the dusky sound elements, the emotional piano stands out brilliantly against the background. By adding the gentle synths and the dreamy pads, the track leads to create a space of soothing calm. 

Shingo Nakamua's remix maximizes the original piano phrases at its highest performance in the track by means of Shingo's quality sound textures, which has already proved at his recent album "Days". After the drop, the bassline switches its sequence wisely then dramatize the perfect climax.

Consisting of Danish-born (LA-based) producer Tim McEwan and NYC-based singer-songwriter Tyler Lyle, The Midnight have emerged in recent years as a veritable leader of the synthwave resurgence. More specifically, the duo have received generous support from legions of synthwave enthusiasts, as well as more casual synth-pop fans, ever since their aesthetic-defining debut EP "Los Angeles" (2014). Their subsequent LP offering, "Endless Summer" (2016), cemented the duo's reputation as one of the finest new synthwave acts, a sentiment that musical legends (Chicane), renowned artist peers (FM-84), and prominent genre hubs (NewRetroWave) have graciously reinforced of late. The Midnight Remixed, one of our most ambitious releases to date, features brand new remixes by a distinguished group of Silk Music veterans, whose melodic and atmospheric sound has significantly helped to define our brand. We've also recruited a few famed nonresident label contributors, including Lifelike and Michael Cassette, whose specific compositional gifts and musical legacies seemed especially apropos to this 80s-influenced endeavor.

The Midnight Remixed showcases breathtaking new interpretations of The Midnight's past work, ranging in style from drum & bass and deep house to trance & progressive. Michael Cassette, Johan Vilborg, Dezza, Lifelike, PROFF, Terry Da Libra, Sundriver, and Talamanca's exhilarating, club-oriented interpretations feature rapturous chords, and, of course, Tyler's mellifluous and infectious vocal hooks. Offerings from Marsh, Vintage & Morelli, eleven.five, and Mango vs. We Are All Astronauts convey a deeper and more introspective musical tone, but are nonetheless equally memorable.

It's our great pleasure to welcome back Australian artist Elypsis, whose brand new single, "Poison," once again showcases his deft compositional talents in the deep-progressive house niche. Fans of the genre may recall his wonderful debut EP, "Open Road," which arrived on our imprint earlier this year. This time around, he introduces fellow Australian musician Mandy Reign, who lends her songwriting and vocal gifts as a featured collaborator. Also along for the ride: beloved veteran contributor Gregory Esayan presents his first brand new offering to our label since his acclaimed artist album, "Pilgrim's Diary," via a characteristically emotive and introspective interpretation.

Elypsis and Mandy Reign's original mix of "Poison" is a soulful, deep house ballad, which explores the darker side of love. There's a melancholic atmosphere to the composition, which Mandy's plaintive lyrics, such as "what are you doing to me? / your love is like poison," reinforce throughout the song. Elypsis offers a buoyant, yet gentle swing to the groove, which allows the listener to fully embrace the weight of Mandy's words and "release" its implicit pain through dance.

Gregory Esayan's long-awaited return to our imprint -- his first brand new contribution of 2017 -- is more of a 'rework,' in that he closely emulates the original vocal arrangement and overall mood, while adding a bit more rhythmic energy, as well as subtle atmospheric effects (for additional texture). Fans of Esayan's past work will recognize a few poignant artist signatures in the breakdown, including a variety of other-worldly, trance-influenced background synths.

Sound Quelle, the acclaimed Russian veteran, continues to compose superlative trance, progressive, and even deep house productions; not surprisingly, his music, in turn, garnered more radio support from the industry elite in 2017 than any preceding year in his career. We were thrilled to feature two of his latest tracks on our recent "Silk Music Showcase 06" compilation, both of which are presented in this EP as full, DJ-friendly versions.

Sound Quelle's high-octane thriller "Shoreline," a collaboration with Russian countryman and fellow Silk Music veteran Piramex, explodes out of the gate with a stormy, modern trance-flavored groove. At the quarter turn, the song's unforgettable main hook appears: a hypnotic array of almost "mystical" vocal effects, backed by goosebumps-inducing strings. In the mini-drop to follow, the many melodic layers coalesce to euphonious effect. In the song's second half, we are treated to an extended main breakdown and another ecstatic drop. There is no doubt that Sound Quelle and Piramex have delivered a veritable trance anthem with soul.

Proving that he is equally adept in deeper terrain, Sound Quelle serves up "Djerba" as a glorious B-side. A chilled house groove, punctuated by a sort of "growling" bass effect, is soon met by a poignant piano motif. A funky saxophone theme, Balearic guitar riff, and ethereal vocal stabs offer lovely melodic accents to the already colorful soundscape. In the main breakdown, the gentle crashing of waves and a delicate string theme prove awe-inspiring to the listener, especially when rejoined by the triumphant lead theme and Siren-esque vocals that were teased earlier in the arrangement. Myriad blissful themes unite in the drop, which is arguably the compositional highlight of Sound Quelle's already illustrious career.

Russian producer Ellunate reemerges with an electrifying progressive EP, with a soothing blend of the classic progressive sound, the modern, and a touch of retrowave.

Winter is the best season to witness the marvelous Aurora Borealis in its radiant glory and “Iridescent” display of swirling colors. Here, Ellunate presents a swirling composition of audible textures and colors, intricate arp weaves and melodic themes respectively, in an electrifying aural display of his own. “Deep Thought” infuses concepts of the pondering mind, a profound rhythm of the heart, and electric arps of that help accentuate expressive emotions. The overall product leaves the listener under a hypnotic enchantment. Intensifying the EP from its introduction, “Frisson” releases a surge of thrills and excitement. At its core, retrowave interweaves arpeggiated chords, electric pads, and a banging progressive rhythm.

US based producer Will Canas debuts on Progressive Dreams and we could not be happier. Will is a major player and does not disappoint with this superb EP called Neurotic

The opening track Neurotic is an aspiring track with absolute blissful sounds and a nice chunky bassline that you'll dance your pants off to. 

Shady is a progressive dream (no pun intended) with deep chords, lush pads, and a sizzling lead. It breaks into an elegant piano piece before rising into a summer breeze.
