Totally improvised jam/work tape. Recorded 1989 or thereabouts.  My record-keeping is not reliable.  The house had old wiring and RF interference included the local radio station whose tower was not far away from 1st and Springfield (so you hear that and I left it in for gits and shizzles).  RIP my friend.

Lü Dongbin is one of the Eight Immortals of Taoism.  According to tradition, his experiments with alchemy in search of the Golden Elixir of Immortality resulted in the poisoning deaths of 800 monks of Wudang Mountain.   The composition begins somewhat contemplative and evolves into a dissonant morass of textures and crispy electrical timbres before collapsing into well-deserved oblivion.
