GC099 - Col Lawton 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Born in the UK’s North East, Col Lawton is a product of the vibrant music scene of Newcastle Upon Tyne which sees all kinds of music sit comfortably alongside each other. This extended and related marriage of musical styles is clearly evident in the music he produces as he stretches the boundaries of what is possible in the House arena. 

As a co-owner of Deep Fix Recordings along with Wez Hall, Robbie Robinson and Brian Jordison, he has crafted a career that demonstrates an evolving ability to produce music that is both authentic as well as incredibly addictive.

Col entered the musical production space in 2017, concentrating initially on producing sumptuous Deep House. This has led to releases on Broken Records, King Street Sounds, Moiss Music, the Atjazz Record Company and so many more. He has worked with notable and recognised artists such as Glass Slipper, Da Funk Junkies, Ricky Montana and most recently with ‘The Originator of House Music’, Jesse Saunders on ‘It’s OK’. A seminal release by The Force 35 years ago, Col was selected by Jesse to feature on the remix package with such luminaries as Mike Dunn, Thommy Davis and The Originator himself.

Col Lawton as a DJ, Producer and label owner is a person that delivers so much to an industry that craves originality in the music it consumes. Whether it be on the dance floor or the sanctity of the personal listening environment, his music is able to deliver those emotional responses that take you to another place. Built from the legacy of those that have gone before him, Col Lawton has become a talent that will forever be a feature of the House Music community and whose music will influence generations to come.

GCM108 - Matt Barker 🇬🇧 

Matt’s varied influences are often heard in his music style; ranging from Masters At Work, DJ Sneak, and Basement Jaxx alongside Joey Negro and Dimitri from Paris reflect his funky style, running through his sets whether it be house, tech or disco. 

His career of over 20 years began with regular residencies for Revolution Bars, Speedqueen, Mint Club and various other Yorkshire super brands, and after joining forces with 3 other local artists including Doorly, Matt created and DJ’d at the club brand Afterparty. 

What started off as a workers party swiftly outgrew two venues and became one of the North’s biggest warehouse parties. Afterparty went on to be voted clubnight of the year by Galaxy FM and Mixmag, and attracted huge acts including Fatboy Slim, Armand Van Helden, Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Groove Armada, Calvin Harris, Sebastian Ingrosso, Chase and Status to name a few.

A regular Love to Be resident, appearances in the UK have recently seen Matt play at venues such as Lofts in Newcastle, Peddlers Warehouse and Forge, Sheffield, Playhouse in Epping, Y Guildford…. a monthly residency at KISS, Portugal and boat party and WNDRLND, Eden in Ibiza.

MiNNA brings dynamic energy to dance floors, blending influences from 70s disco and the vibrant sounds of 90s Chicago & New York music scenes. Her mixes feature Disco, Old School House, and a diverse range of Vocal and Dance tunes. Over the past year, MiNNA has been making waves in the clubbing scene, with performances at prestigious venues such as The Jazz Cafe, fabric, and KOKO, as well as appearances at major events like Notting Hill Carnival and Houghton Festival. Additionally, she's been captivating audiences across Europe, including stops in Tbilisi, the Netherlands, Italy, and Portugal, with her debut set for this summer in Ibiza.

MiNNA has supported renowned artists like Masters At Work, Motor City Drum Ensemble, and Armand Van Helden, while her primary goal remains to share her love for music and bridge generational gaps. Beyond her DJ career, MiNNA is also a talented guitarist, and her deep knowledge of music extends far beyond her years. Party-goers are drawn to her positive and uplifting selections, creating an electrifying atmosphere wherever she performs.

Introducing Damián Hernán, also known as ON THE REG: a DJ, producer, and event organizer with over 15 years of experience in the music scene. His eclectic sessions span from Chicago House, Deep, Funk, Disco, Italian Dream House, and more. As the founder of OTR, an event production company in the Buenos Aires underground scene, he's responsible for the renowned OTR PODCAST on SoundCloud, featuring over 170 mixes from international DJs like: TODD TERRY MARK FARINA, PHIL WEEKS, and KAPOTE from Toy Tonics, among others. He has successfully curated event series like MAGIC JOURNEY at Niceto Club and The Shamrock. His productions have been released on labels such as Mole Records, Boite Records, Groovy Riddim, as well as on his own label, On The Reg, available on Bandcamp. With performances at festivals like Lollapalooza and in prestigious clubs like Crobar, Bahrein, Under Club, Avant Garten, El Muelle, JET BsAs, 2GTHR, Afrika, and more.
Damián has taken his sessions to locations across Mexico, Canada, the UK, Russia, Brazil, and the United States.
