Zauberstab V.A. Volume 1 is a compilation of electronic bedroom music made by contemporary artists that belong to similar sonic spheres. 
The A side feels like a holiday in an exotic landscape; the kind of place you don't want to leave. 
The B side then goes in a slightly deeper meditative direction, but not too far, since the sparking disco-infused psych exploration of ’Space Surfari’ will hold you back from falling into the void of the unconscious. What comes next is the sound that would welcome a moonlit night sky. 
The C side slinks into a minimal synth oriented exploration, ending with the intergalactic hopeful drift of ‘Har’.
The last side will provide a comfortable seat on this hypnotic journey. ‘Été 2017’ is an ode to the late summer nights, a mind-driving loop carried by gentle percussive sounds, filled with some bass deepness. The next tracks are the right balance between a hug and a breeze of fresh air for your mind and soul.
At this point you might find yourself wondering if it’s a good idea to open your eyes or just keep them closed for a bit longer and thoroughly enjoy all of the details of this story. But, why not? 
This one is, after all, a record to build beautiful memories with.

The conjectural wedding band OTTO is expanding its organ soundtrack madness. With their third record, they deliver sonic solutions for all sorts of moods (Stimmungen), ranging from dark and stormy to smooth and suave. “Rhythmus” stands out with abstract, repetitive vocals in German, ready to land in a club somewhere near you. This project is supported by Orgaton, the society for the promotion of organ music.

“It’s not easy to transform a jam into a proper tune that haunts forever. The two Glaswegian friends MR TC and Lo Kindre are in possession of that special skill that can transform spontaneous tuned-in music into something significant without losing the gut feeling along the way.

As solo artists they have released on labels like Optimo Music, 12th Isle and Against Fascism Trax, and together released 'The Storm EP' in late 2018 on Vienna's Neubau. Now they continue their collaborative work on PHASE001 – an EP that also marks the launch of their own label that listens to the same name. The start-up brings four analogue tracks that courageously link cold waving synth-shocks, neon-light nonchalance and haunted spoken words; deep hypnotic musical witchcraft that peels itself out of the history of dark electronic music with a pulsating and haunting atmosphere.”

Callousness and strength are the companions of death. Weakness and flexibility - express the freshness of being. Therefore, what is hardened, couldn't win. 
Berlin's Malka Tuti celebrating 5 years of of existence and on this occasion releases this wonderful compilation, in our turn we were instructed to premiere this unreleased version by Gordon Pohl to Die Orangen’s Mersey River. The original track was released on their sold out debut LP on Malka Tuti. The LP was followed by a remix pack Saft 1 in 2018, hosting an epic 16 minute version by Gordon Pohl on the B Side. According to MT the label always wanted to find a way to release this version as well, but they were waiting for the right moment. Clearly a 5 year celebration was enough to do the trick.

PREMIERE #911 | Die Orangen - Mersey River (Gordon Pohl's Other Remix) [Malka Tuti] 2020

Raster presents »Il Quadro di Troisi«, a project by Andrea Noce (Eva Geist) and Donato Scaramuzzi (Donato Dozzy). The record is a colorful ode of an Italian scented vision, overflowing of details and profound intensity. The contemporary world condition, the pandemic in Italy and around the world define »Il Quadro di Troisi« as a unique and right-on-time release. 

This record is a enigmatic collaboration between the two Italian natives Andrea Noce and Donato Scaramuzzi. Andrea Noce takes lead on the vocals, with Donato Scaramuzzi carving the dreamlike soundscapes of the record. The record was born with a correspondence between the two artists about the late actor and director Massimo Troisi, and this exchange soon became an inspirational source of identification. Andrea Noce’s lyrics are sensitive and multi-faceted, they perfectly cling to the musical phrases and flow like a filmic monologue from the oeuvre of that very Troisi. 

In a highly creative and confident manner, entire decades of national music history are comprehended and transformed into the here and now. The record takes its cue from the italo-disco, synth pop tradition corroborated by the contribution of artists such as the legendary Twilight Music co-founder, Paolo Micioni. With »Il Quadro di Troisi«, Noce and Scaramuzzi prove their eclecticism, and passion for their home country. 

»Il Quadro di Troisi« is a collaboration between Raster and the Milan-based festival Terraforma. With this release, the first with a purely Italian focus on the label, Raster celebrates its long standing relation with Italy and the Italian audience, encapsulated in the label's project ›Electric Campfire‹ held in Rome for ten years. Terraforma is an international experimental and sustainable music festival taking place since 2014 in the park of Villa Arconati, where Dozzy has been invited at every edition in different forms, DJing, live performing both in solo and with Voices from the Lake (together with Neel). 

»Il Quadro di Troisi« will be released on the 31st of August as an exclusive pre-order, followed by the single release of »Raggio verde«. The physical and digital release of the album is planned for autumn 2020.
