<p>Johnny Kaos and Mattew Jay there are no strangers to MB Elektronics world and they deliver a dynamic EP. First up is &#8216;Polling&#8217;, an instant solid production from both of them. Deep chords are bouncing back on the foreground mixed up perfectly with twisted effects. Perfect beginning to this EP and the best of all it&#8217;s just one of the three excellent tracks here. Next comes &#8216;Don&#8217;t Touch My Bass&#8217; and once again this is an epic techno journey with thick but eerie melodies all over. Closing this EP is &#8216;You Are a Monster&#8217; which is really special. The bassline, lighten up the drum kicks and make it much more tasteful. Nothing less but elegant stuff to this EP is a solid outing from the boys, Johnny Kaos and Mattew Jay and for MB Elektronics as well, it will really put your speakers to the test.</p>

Kerri Chandler's Kaoz Theory imprint (founded in 2015) follows up on the standout Voyeur LP by welcoming back Satoshi Tomiie to the fold. The Paris + NYC based Japanese producer previously made his mark on the label with a remix of the bossman's 'Turn Off The Lights'. February 27th sees him back for his own two track EP. It includes the dynamite '512 Jam' - a track you can hear in full exclusively on When We DIp today.

Swedish DJ Adeline lands on Crosstown Rebels with You*re Sick, a diverse four track release that features a stunning remix from Rex Club regular D’Julz.

The EP opens with the title track You*re Sick. Pronounced kicks merge with subtle pads, as an enchanting vocal sample whispers along. Bubble-like pops are brought in alongside intermittent hi-hats, creating a real dance-floor ready record. The D’Julz dub comes next. Staying true to the original, the addition of an electro-like breakdown builds energy, before that addictively-good kick is brought back in. Dust To Bone is a fast-paced minimal thumper, that takes no prisoners as it moves along with a wholesome bassline and softly driving percussion, before Rite De Passage rounds off the EP with powerful pads and warm keys.

Brought up in the rolling Swedish countryside, Adeline is a DJ, producer and vocalist whose talents reach far further than the DJ booth. Having founded electronic music duo Housewives with La Fleur in 2006, Adeline has gone on to release standout productions on the likes of Culprit and Kindisch Records. D’Julz is an artist whose presence in the scene has been felt for decades. For twenty two years, the French native has been running the now legendary “Bass Culture” night at Rex Club, and has hosted some of the scenes most respected DJs in recent times, including Seth Troxler, Sonja Moonear and Nicolas Lutz.

Our Canadian brother Carlo Lio returns home with his ninth SCI+TEC release, A Dusty Heart. A founding member of the label family, Carlo made his debut with his Purple Soul ep back in 2009. Since that time he has gone on to become one of the most in demand producers on the circuit and with a sound that encompasses warm deep tech to arena-busting techno, its not difficult to see why. Whilst he spends the summer season in Europe the Rawthentic Music boss still enjoys winter back home, regularly returning to play Footwork in Toronto, the party where he first made his mark. 

Carlo's latest SCI+TEC weapon is the excellent, A Dusty Heart. Powered by its earth-moving kick drum the original trips along with its shimmering Hats and 'dusty' beats whilst the vocals hypnotise the dancefloor. Presenting not one but two remixes of the original is Italian producer Marco Faraone. The Etruria Beat label boss, who is preparing for the release of his own artist album, stays true to the original on his 'Floorkiller' Remix, toning down the brightness of the hats, losing the vocal and bringing the synth stabs to the fore. Marco's second remix is a deeper, more atmospheric affair with its layered strings. The powerful kick-drum remains however, assuring its peaktime potential.
